wall, burrow, absorb totem, grounding , roots, knockback(while stunned) and wind shear, unleash shield dam reduc whirlpool/knock, dip behind pillar and lightning lasso, passive earth shield/stream hps, static totem, tremor your healer/team.
Shaman has a very large defensive toolkit you just need to know how to use it well and then you are very hard to kill!

He’s not saying Rsham is stronger than Hpal or Dpriest even super competitive, just listing a robust tool kit that will prevent him from getting globed which is true, haven’t seen any shaman just flop as stated. Their defensive kit is amazing , heck even bloated.

Fury/bm for sure, i’d need to see feral without bm first because I don’t face any spriest/feral etc anymore.
Frost mage, along with other specs (Destro included, dragon) to name a few, need something doing with there damage, seeing 50 mil bolt/disen/frostfire bolt, then there next ability is 15mil is a joke.
