Shaman Malestrom Rune Quest (THIS IS NOT FUN)

Whatever dev designed or came up with the idea to get this rune needs to be fired or quit… Making shamans collect 30 items from across 3 different zones and the mobs that drop these items have a LOW chance to drop them, are thinly spread throughout the zone (Think 4 wither mobs in the entire zone of dustwallow at one time) AND possibly share a spawner with other mobs… spent 8 hours farming the wind dudes in desolace, only to go to dustwallow and kill 15 of the withers over 2 hours and only have 1 of the items drop… THIS IS NOT FUN…

I haven’t even done this but I won’t bother, it’s not only the abysmal drop rate but competing with others for the mobs.

Whoever designed this:

You are evil, you did this to increase the time people take to grind this so that translates in increased sub times hence more money for the company, none of this quest is designed to be fun or engaging for the player, its inspired by pure evil greed…

These quests so painfully needs a higher drop chance and increase to spawn rate of the mobs to become REMOTELY fun to play at all.

I just literally won’t do it until it’s fixed. Absolute waste of time at the moment

Yeah I have much better things to do, I’m playing with my GF who happens to have limited time, you evil clowns want me to spend that precious time grinding this absolute circus of madness?

You are in for a rude awakening clowns.

Its not so bad. Its a good grind.

I finished the desolace quest in under 2 hours, as I was also questing, I would usually just find them while doing other things. Currently on Dustwallow, and also going well. I found a few spawn points, and just passing there every 5 minutes, while I farm other things and do other quests.

I think the issue is most people left this for lvl 40 and are now just grinding this. I don’t think that was the original intention.

I saw what we have to do to get the Arcane Barrage Rune for my Mage Healer.

I need to go to like 7+ Zones and kill a level 41 Elites. Just an exercise in tedium.
