I thought my mind was set in rolling a Paladin for Classic but I have started getting some good memories of my shaman, what are your thoughts on shamans for PvP? In the case I roll a shaman I would also like to raid as resto. Do you guys think I would enjoy it more than playing a Pally? I played as Horde in Vanilla.

Acquire zerking -> find squishy keyboard turning retail troglodyte target -> pop ToEP -> chain lightning + lightning bolt + earth shock + NS chain lightning -> Irish Jig on their corpse -> make sure you had Bandycam on -> guys my YouTube video of me doing 8k burst on some kid is up -> flex in the mirror.

enhance is actually good too, but they go out of mana pretty fast
hunters are their only really bad match up, mages can be tough but they are beatable. you probably wont beat a pally one on one, but thats true for a lot of people, and they wont catch you either

Sadly, this is accurate. Well, maybe not sadly. You are the undisputed gods of 1v1 pvp.
I think the only thing you guys struggle against is a hunter.Other than that with moderate skill? You can kill anyone. Even as resto.

Damn man and I was really set on a Paladin, Classic is taking so long to be released that I am reconsidering my choices.
Maybe I am going against the grain here but I enjoyed 2h windfury enhancement a lot more than ele.
Those 2h windfury procs were everything to me.

If and I mean IF by some chance you get sulfurion enhancement rocks. Especially if you get a windfury proc. That's pretty much a one shot on clothies till they are absurdly geared.
Main a paladin on Alliance, and a shaman on Horde?

So this is how you pvp with a shaman. Firstly make a frost mage friend. They are great partners in pvp.
Secondly...get in a guild that has dkp. Save all your dkp and bid on the pieces for hand of sulfurus.
Go enhanced and start quad hitting for 2k (oneshotting clothies).
If someone is kiting you get your frost mage friend in freeze them in place so you can smack them.

DKP guilds don't put Legendaries up for DKP lol
