Are you guys playing Delves? If so, what spec? Im curious how Enhancement is doing.
Im told - havent tried - that going Resto and letting Brann be DPS is the best way to clear a Delve. Anyone tried it?
i did 4 11’s this week as enhance. 1 without dying and got the title or w/e. it’s not bad if you just pull, line, and let brann dps.

I been playing Delves as Totemic and I am lv 9. I was soloing until then. Now I run with 2 or 3 peeps.

just got to 8s and gonna push a little more, lots of kiting. thats kind of it. Doing them as ele.

I’ve been doing some level 8 ones, haven’t tryed to push past that for now…
Did about 8, maybe 10 as Ele… Yeah you have to Kite quite a bit and rely on Earth Elemental for difficult packs and bosses. I have Bran specced for healer which helps a lot with the unavoidable damamge from some bosses.
There were a few times I hexed a mob to make a pull easier but I think once I got past 590 item level or so I haven’t had to, also got a bit more comfrotable with kiting so that helped too (for context this is my first time playing Ele, which I only do as off-spec from Resto).
Honeslty didn’t think of trying them as Resto, I thought it would be painfully slow so went Ele from the start… Might give it a try as Resto since I’ve been hearing it’s pretty decent.
not bad. been cruising through 8s, decently geared. i spec into hex which can make it almost trivial, no real scare of dying. doing them as totemic enh.
Ele is doable until you run into one of the delves that have mechanics that restrict you from kiting (candles, etc). Some of the bosses can be kinda cancer too.
I’ve done quite a bit of those as Ele, they are not that bad…
The trick is to drop the candle/totem to the ground so you don’t exhaust it by walking and kite while staying within the area… Minimize unneccesary walking while holding the candle to avoid making the area smaller.
A big thing is to use Surge of Power with frost shock to freeze them in place for a bit, also take the talent that turns frost shock into an AOE slow (the freeze will remain single target only but the AOE slow is still really useful).

Tier 8’s as Ele/Farseer, decent mob control and burst when needed… not as squishy as enhance which can just get eaten up with huge hits.
Been running Bran as healer on all of them… have not tried resto with him DPSing yet… sound promising if he can put out decent damage.
The only issue I have is having to go so slow and be methodical… so a tier 8 bountiful can take much longer than I would like.
May wait for another toon to push past 8 on solo.
Unless we get that rumored tank spec sooner rather than later.
Just tried this on an 8…absolutely pointless. Brann follows you, so you still have to pull, his dps was not enough to pull threat from a flameshock. I had to heal, so after 1 riptide on myself i had 424% aggro. He could not kill a single mob. I had 1 mob up for over a minute and the more I healed myself the more aggro I got. Either its buggy, or just bad, not sure.
I’ve done a few as enhance with not too much issue.

As Enhance Shaman I’ve only done up to 7’s after vault I should be high ilevel to crack an 8
7’s were no deaths but I pulled like I was tanking a Vanilla dungeon. Lot’s of LoS, Interrupts, CC and small pulls.

Doing all bountiful 8’s solo in the last 3 days as enhanc.
Died 3 times.
Oh and leave Brann to DPS we can self heal ourselves enough! But I use heal/utility relics on him for a little help.
What level is your Brann?
Honestly couldnt tell you. What level should he be?

To lead the way for you in 8s I’m gonna guess at least 30+, but I’m not sure either.
I was hoping you would say low level to explain this. If your Brann is 30+ and this is still true, then my dream of resto delving was just crushed.

I think i need to watch a review guide on Delves because now i have like 7 questions.
I am able to run with all three specs. All have been viable and strong in their own way.
I am looking forward to some changes on the test realm going live as well, should definitely smooth some of the rough edges.

Yeah I did a T8 as Resto with DPS Brann to try it out… I ended up getting the aggro and having to face-tank the mobs while trying to outheal the damage, was doable but not very good or fun tbh… My Brann is pretty high level I think, definitely above 30.
The other 11 delves I did (T8 ones) were as Ele with Healer Brann… I much prefer this set-up…
For the first couple delves I did as Ele I died a few times, never to the point of failing the Delve but more than I’d like so had to adjust the build a bit and focus more on kiting, use Hex sometimes, etc… But now at higher Item level it’s been easier, I don’t think I’ve died in the last few.
