New patch notes for 11.0.5
They gave it the ol’ Mass Dispel. I’m honestly quite surprised (a little happy in a way to see some justice).
I guess it’s safe to say Mass Dispel will never go any lower than the 2-minute cooldown we have now for sure.
They’ll probably end up nerfing the last boss in Ara because the only way you were timing it on high keys was by bringing a Shaman because the dot does 7-10+ mil damage depending on key level if you don’t dispel it. 2-3 cleanses in the group can’t get everyone before the dot runs out.
The devour affix was trivialized by PCT since it was every 90s and the totem was 45s. Mass Dispel was only every 2 minutes so yeah…
Or…
A massive outcry/backlash targeted towards this poison cleansing cooldown change and they capitulate and either restore the cooldown to 45 seconds or maybe 60 or 90 sec which is still less than Mass Dispel.
And if they did end up capitulating, you will also just so happen to see no concerns or announcements regarding Mass Dispel cooldown lol.
Won’t that outcome be grand? 
Rather they just nerf Resto Shamans so I can actually get invited to +12 keys. I’m sure every other healer would nod in agreement.
