Through discussion in another thread it was pointed out that Paladins have access to Blessing of Wisdom Rank 2, providing 15mp5. Horde Shaman don’t get Mana Spring Totem until level 26, and when they do, it will offer roughly 10 mp5. Even at the next level breakpoint, assuming it’s 40, Paladins will offer 20 mp5 while Shaman will offer 15 mp5.
I’m wondering if it might be worth buffing Water Shield, which grants 1% of the Shaman’s maximum mana every 5s, so that it gives all (or a portion) of that mana regen to the entire group.
It sounds like there’s a lot of reasons players are preferring Alliance right now, but perhaps this can help mitigate one of them?
Well, this is SoD and not necessarily Classic. We also know that there previously was Horde exclusive abilities that Alliiance didn’t have access to, which they now do. We also know that Blizzard seems to actively be balancing the game to improve things.
I don’t play Horde myself, but this discrepency was noted in another thread and I felt like it deserved some attention. I think it’s just better for the game if people have compelling reasons to choose either faction and in SoD, outside of preference, there might actually be less reason to choose Horde than there is in Era.
Maybe that’s something they want to change, or maybe it isn’t, we’ll see what happens
I could get behind this as a thing horde get. I figure you either have to make everything the same, or give compelling reasons to play either faction. They did the “make everything the same route” already so asymmetrical balance is ok by me.
Either way I’m happy, but I would like there to be a reason people choose horde and right now I don’t think there is one?
