Shaman changes

Shaman needs a skill in place of reincarnation or the skill to be modified as its current state its too strong. Paladin only lost the ability to hearth while bubbling but at least they can keep the skill which is arguably the strongest ability in HC for survival.

Change:
72HR Cooldown
Reincarnation Spell: “Flavor text” - Shaman is unable to move, prepares for death. Taking lethal damage spawns ahnk (attackable & still in combat) for 5 seconds. Shaman will reincarnate with any life remaining on Ahnk.

Context:
This would need to be a tool the shaman has to cast, similar to bubble though much worse, but still a tool. The Ahnk can be attacked by monsters to avoid resetting aggro and such, and the shaman will have to instantly revive after the time. In dungeon or raid the shaman will still most likely die if used, but may survive open world if the ahnk survives. HP on ahnk should probably equal shaman total hp.

Other ideas:
Earth Shield*
1 time reincarnate at 60 with the passive
New skill such as totem recall to make totems less miserable to deal with

Thanks for reading

its hardcore for a reason so no rez stuff

No.

You die, you die.

Ok, so if no “Rez” how about an earth shield in place of reincarn?

No.

Good argument.

You don’t see warlocks complaining on the forums because their soulstones don’t work.

You know why?

Because warlocks are smart enough to know that in Hardcorpse, you die, you die.

Nightelf passive is movement speed while dead.

It’s only fair that this gets changed to 20% move speed at all times.

Why does it matter that I play nightelf?
I’m clearly not biased, it’s only the logical thing to do.

This isnt an argument about dying. Its about a new skill in place of reincarn that was disabled. You also, dont see paladins complaining on the forums because they still have divine shield. Ok and?

I think you could make a case for shamans IF you didn’t suggest something so OP.

Give them like 15% of their hearthstone cd in place of ankh.

Nothing combat related.

But also

#nochanges

See also: soulstone.

Again: no.

Don’t play shaman then, imo.

One of the nice side-effects of removing these sorts of revives is that now there’s no reason to discriminate against Druid healers for instances.

Silver linings :rainbow:

no revives
no bonus skills
no nothin :expressionless:
this isn’t classic+. it’s hardcore. more people will roll shamans when the horde starts raiding and really needs them.

It would have been nice if they either

  1. Removed these abilities from the game
  2. Repurposed these abilities

It drives me INSANE when I go to my trainer just to find some skills green and unlearned. So I either need to throw away my silver/gold and learn them, or leave them there.

I think what I suggested is very weak, in comparison to divine shield anyway. #nochanges would mean reincarn would work which is too op.

i know that feel but at the end of the day, it’s an unhealthy OCD thing you should learn to let go of :expressionless:

Excuse me. How dare you. That opinion is reserved for people that I pay $230 an hour to and meet with once a week.

If you think bubble is so strong to the point that other classes should be given new abilities to compensate…

Maybe you should just play pally.

My rogue doesn’t have bubble or ankh?

What new ability would I get to make me feel better?

I used paladin as an example because its the alliance exclusive class the devs intended to mirror shaman. Both ahnk and divine shield are get out of jail free abilities. Paladin can heal to full, shaman revives.

Shaman had their ability removed from the game. Paladin did not. Do you understand now?

What does rogue have to do with anything? Rogue did not lose vanish.

I see that you’re ignoring warlocks’ soulstone.
