Blizzard, please, I’m begging you to let shaman use swords.
It’s a new month, a new trading post, and yet again nothing for enh shaman to equip. So, so many others have access to all these neat, unique weapons from the trading post, like the candied blade, the giftbringer xl, even the witch staves. Meanwhile the only weapons we’ve gotten from the trading post that enh shaman can use, that weren’t recolors of old weapons, has been the Ragnaros Flail and the Stormhammers and that’s it iirc.
Out of the few ensembles of weapons we’ve gotten so far we’ve been able to use none of the weapons because they’re all swords. So I’m begging, please. Either let shaman use swords, or put more than just swords on the trading post.

Yeah its mind blowing that this restriction still exists. Its the “but wow is an rpg!” while they allow cross faction, introduce warbands, and have the wow token.
But shaman having swords? Unacceptable.

What is the obsessions with Shaman and swords? We’re talking about a class whose sole purpose is a supporting role in healing, and ranged magical damage. Swords have always implied up close and personal melee. The mace feels like it fits the theme better. Plus, I have never seen the greatest shaman of them all use a sword… ever…
Mace or axe? Sure. But never a sword.

I’m surprised they didn’t just have a 1H version of the 2H mace. I still wouldn’t have bought it though.
They aren’t a support role and I think you forgot about Enhancement.

I tend to forget about Shaman. Have not enjoyed them since Cataclysm.
Come on Blizzard.
Destroy more RPG elements of WoW so we can then complain about WoW having their RPG elements destroyed.

He isn’t just from an alternative universe. He’s very canon. He’s the horde boss in AV. He taught Thrall how to be a shaman.

And now he is decoration in a class hall, and forgotten about my non-Shaman. Again though… one guy. It’s just my personal opinion, which I will not debate or defend. Shaman and maces make sense. Swords don’t fit.

Just because they can, doesn’t mean then do. My mage, and most casters, get better stats on a 2H staff. You can ask Blizz why a caster class was handed swords. I don’t know, and personally don’t care.
Swords are too refined a weapon for shamans. All shamans know how to do is smash.
