I’ve been killing Demons in Mannoroc Coven for the better part of 3 hours straight now with no Shadowy Figure in sight. Has anyone else had such poor luck with the spawn rate of this evasive headache?
Same here, over 2 hours grinding so far.
Whoever made this quest, I wish terrible luck on you and your next of kin.

Why do people go to Mannoroc coven? I farmed naga for about 20 minutes before I got mine.
Must be nice. Currently at nagas. Took me 1 hour to get the core. Currently 2 hours trying to get the figure spawn.
If this is a dev’s idea of fun, god help us what they come up with in p3 and 4…
More gold sinks, new recipes are gonna be 100g probably.
You don’t need to go kill demons in desolace the shadow figure spawns from the warriors nagas, like 3rd kill yesterday i had her spawn then almost every 2nd kill after she was also spawning

shouldn’t complain about the small amount of content that is in phase 2.
The questline for epic crafting is about 30% of the PvE content.
Ive wasted 3 hours+ on just this part of the quest grinding nagas. I will complain. And Ill double down too - I hope the dev loses their job

nothing to do but raidlog PvE wise once you complete that questline.
for 3-4 months
a 6 boss raid
they’ll nerf in the next 2 weeks

Showed up fast killing the nagas south of feathermoon.
First time playing vanilla? Lots of grinding involved.

Try deleting your cache folder and restarting WoW. Multiple people have said that it works super faster after. Spawned after my first kill when I did that.
Ill double down on the double down. Not even KFC can copy right this anger
Heh, I accepted the quest and the quest item dropped from the first naga I kill, and the shadowy figure spawned ~10 mobs later. lol
Done it twice, less than 15 minutes of killing all in for both steps with naga and shadow figure.
They are 15-25 golds each.
I got the core after my 2nd naga caster kill, but can’t get the shadowy figure to spawn. Been killing naga for over an hour. Deleted Cache and WTF folders. Nada.
Fun quest Blizz.

theres a quest for warlocks in desolace that requires the shadowy figure to get the orb off hand
