I’ve always played on pvp servers and this time was no different. I made the mistake of rolling horde on barman shanker… big mistake! The horde population there has quickly dwindled to nothing while alliance have taken over completely. I think my most recent census scans showed maybe 400-500 horde online at peak hours? This means that the ratio of alliance to horde in pvp areas like wpl or epl can be 3:1 or more, making it unbearable.
I got fed up with dealing with world pvp and rerolled on a pve server for the first time. I was worried that I’d already missed the curve and that I wouldn’t see any lowbies running around anymore, but I was mistaken. My census scan on shadowstrike showed at least 2000 alliance players online with more logging on as the night went on. The lowbie zones were still fairly populated to find help when needed but not too overcrowded to where there was competition for mob tagging or named mobs. I even see guilds still recruiting that only plan to start raiding in January!
I really like barman but I’m worried about the horde there. Last night I ran thru the barrens and saw TWO whole horde players and peeked into the xroads.and it was literally empty.
Ya it couldn’t of possibly been because you went from horde to alliance, regardless of server alliance are dominant and have a large population in comparison.
Which is understandable, but I am simply highlighting the fact the reason it seems populated is because of your faction change. Horde is just a dead faction all around this time around, which is sad tbh.
Be careful you’ll be called a liar by the trolls and informed that Barkman is extremely active and thriving. Barkman is going right down the toilet, my guild was close to having a raid ready roster then nearly 10 players disappeared. I’ve noticed the vast majority of my friend list went inactive as well.
