Starting a new assassination rogue, noticed a talent for “Thrill Seeking” which gives you 2 stacks of Shadowstep. Sounds cool!
So where is Shadowstep for assassination? It’s missing. It’s not in the spellbook, not a talent. Searching for it in the UI shows no match.
I switched to sub and it’s there just fine, but I switch back to assassination and there’s no shadowstep anywhere. Confused…
Just checked, it’s on my bars as I type this. Check the “Assassination” tab of your spellbook, it should be there.
I know my rogue definitely has it on her bars. I pretty much only play mut.
I just can’t remember if you have to talent into it or if its baseline now.
Almost positive it’s baseline. I know I didn’t see it in either talent tree.
If you don’t have it still, OP, try logging off and back on. If not then, you’re bugged.

It is a baseline assassination spec ability. It also on some characters fails to apply correctly. I submitted a ticket and bug report and they are ‘investigating’. Submit a bug report too! I stopped playing this toon because its broken.
Wow they can’t even get Shadowstep to work. Glad I shelved the Rogue.
its missing from my new rogue toon, too. older rogue, got it no problem. this one? nothing. reported it, no resolution.
