I’m certain many NE fans would like the same. Though, there are thematic issues there along with the mechanical for both groups to go independent.
That being said, outside of harboring absolutely absurdly long intergenerational grudges … there isn’t much of a reason for Trolls outside of the Amani to hate Elves. Or, at least the Horde’s brands of them. Even then, even within Forest Troll communities I’m sure contention with Humans and Dwarves is far more prevalent and relevant. Hell, you even have our new head Dark Ranger having canonical inroads and friendships within the Revantusk.
EDIT: As a side note, am I the only one would absolutely loves Jintha’Alor? It is easily one of the most underappreciated cities in the game. Love that terraced look. Practical for agriculture and defense.
