Are you a member of the Horde who’s interested in PVP?
Do you like World PVP? Battlegrounds? Battle for Nazjatar? Camping Mezzamere? Attacking Boralus? Destroying large-scale Alliance raids? Helping other players who are being camped? Being a part of a community with similar interests?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should join Shadows of Death!

History:
Shadows of Death is a 10-month old community that was founded in January as a WPVP community. During this time, Blizzard had given the Alliance Heroic raid gear for AOO, so Alliance were swarming the zones, outnumbering the Horde on various shards. I couldn’t stand by while the Alliance was everywhere, so I began leading WPVP raids, and made a WPVP community, Shadows of Death, to encourage collaboration and deal with the Alliance menace!

So that’s how and why we were founded. Today, Shadows of Death has over 1600 members, and is one of the largest active PVP communities in WoW. In addition to doing World PVP, we have expanded to doing Premade Battlegrounds, including epic BGs and Korrak’s revenge, RBGs, and Battle for Nazjatar.
All members are encouraged to partake in PVP, and are free to ask the community for help.

We accept members of all skill levels, so even if you are completely new to PVP, you are free to partake in events.

Just today, we invaded and camped Mezzamere, won the Battle for Nazjatar several times, and won a battle of Korrak’s Revenge.

If you join the community, you should expect a great amount of opportunity to participate in PVP, with a high success rate! We may only be 10 months old, but we have really grown and developed since then. You won’t be disappointed!

So, you interested in joining?
To join, all you have to do is go to the community tab, click “Find a community,” and join “Shadows of Death 2.”

Please note: There will be a community called “Shadows of Death.” Do NOT join this one as it will likely be FULL. (Communities are capped at 1000 members.) (I guess you CAN request to join this one but you likely won’t be accepted.)
Click “Sort by Members” and scroll until you see Shadows of Death 2. Then join it. (And if you joined because of this forum post, then tell me! (Put it in the optional note.))

There are some other things to note, like the fact that we use Black Drakes as a group mount, but this can all be discussed once you actually join :slight_smile:

The group is always active and full of positive Hordies. Shadowblades is a strong pvp leader and has a ton of experience leading the wpvp raids to victory. He definitely plays on all fronts, studies the landscape and enemy there, and works to maintain the advantage on any battlefield. Shadows of Death communities all share a community discord for coordination and raid warnings are used regularly and effectively in combat for the direction of the boots on the ground.

Black Drakes are farmed off Sartherion from the Wrath content (Wowhead Sartherion if you aren’t familiar). If you march straight in and kill him you get the mount ez-peasy. It’s a great feeling to march in on an army of shadowy, black drakes. Trust us when we tell you this.

I’ve found that guy a few time’s on the belf. I always get close to the kill, but sadly he is never without at the very least 3 pocket healers. Sad :panda_face:

Shadowblades is not some god who can withstand multiple raid groups by himself, and you’re delusional for thinking so.
If we wanted to gank Shadowblades, we would only need one raid group, of course.

But seriously, RUIN has never beaten me in PVP (excluding when they had more numbers/raids).
You guys are not fit to be targeting anyone.

Lmao kid. You brought 50 to fight 30 the first time I even saw you, couldn’t wipe us and we were still able to push you back until we got the anchor and you died. You’ve literally been the Alliance’s pincushion for months.

All you have to show for it is: nothing

You sit in our twitch stream like an obsessed ex watching us roll over your faction mates and you can’t do anything about it.

You’re afraid and you will keep making excuses and lying about why you won’t fight but it all comes back to you being a scared little child.

We’ve been at this longer than you’ve been playing WoW kiddo. We’ve fought much better organizations than your upstart community and the ED Twitter Coalition. You are just a plaything to us.
