hey been having this issue since tbc classic was updated to wotlk prepatch. it seems like very randomly the entire “lighting” of an area flickers, it slightly darkens for a 1/4th of a second before returning to normal. occurs anywhere from 0 to a dozen times a minute. it is most noticable in AV, shat, and hyjal. I’ve tried switching it from DX12 to DX11 in settings and settings shadows to low but it doesnt seem to affect it. i have the latest nividia drivers. is this a known bug? is there any solution? not really a game breaking thing but kind annoying

try dx11 legacy or shadows on low. Several posts on reddit about it. Probably wont get much help here…
+++ and u can use win 10 too
I think we are having the same issue. Its like my entire screen goes black but only for a few frames. Its super fast but very jarring.
It started as soon as the Wotlk pre-patch hit. Never seen anything like it in years of playing WoW (or any other game for that mater).

setting to DX 11 legacy seemed to fix it for me
