Shadows beneath is the final cinematic

Whether you like it or not but shadows beneath is the final cinematic for the War Within expansion. And I am glad that they have started producing cinematics that doesn’t give off any story beats.

But to show off the aesthetic and characters that we will meet in this expansion.

It wasn’t really a WoW cinematic. I really don’t know what it was :woman_shrugging: kind of reminds me of Guild Wars

Personally, the hit in quality this cinematic took vs all other expansions is absolutely vast. I personally very strongly dislike the new cinematic, and it just goes backwards in quality. I like the mini movies with dialogues for cinemtatics that theyve been doing since TBC. Without it, its vague and very poor in quality.

Care to share the Official Blizzard Statement, along with the creditable situation and source for this claim that it is the final cinematic for the entire expansion of The War Within?

Cause while it is most likely the last CGI trailer for TWW, Blizzard does consider in-game cutscenes and animatic shorts as part of their cinematic portfolio for their expansions, so it being the “final cinematic” seems like a reach.

I am particularly saying the last CGI and I didn’t mention those other ones.

This is the first time I have watched a wow expansion cinematic and thought to myself “what am I looking at what is all this”? It gives so much Diablo I almost forgot I was watching a wow cinematic. There’s never been a wow cinematic that made me confused as to what I was seeing. Even the silly ones like mists of pandaria or the boring ones like Dragonflight. They all still had “ok this is wow” vibes going on. This does not. It’s concerning.

I thought it was fan made using clips from other games or something. Not until they showed xalatath and the wow logo would I have guessed it was wow

How do you know this and why should we care?

Wow a rare post from you that I actually agree with omg.

But is a very good guess teaser cinematic showing all 4 factions getting ready for war with the ending clearly hinting at the void altered nerubians no doubt.

The cinematic was great. The World of Weirdcraft - The Woke Within

Cinematic was good, they always make it off the context that was given before the trailer anyhow, though new players will probably think “that’s cool” they would need to look into it, however players that have been paying attention to the story knows what it is.
