I heard from a few friends that this zone is fun, which it was. I am currently finishing up some zones for loremaster and currently doing this zone. For leveling its fun, but going for Shadow of the betrayer…is another story.
Borrowed power and anti-demon weapons has you going all over outlands and into a lot of dungeons. I was like, oh i have 2 parts left, it will be fast. I was wrong.

My partner was just talking about this same experience a few days ago, lol. I may be an outlier but I kinda miss those type of quest chains.
you i am fine with them as outliers…
but i am going to be going into my 7th dungeon now and i know there is more on the way.
To give you some perspective though, SMV was basically the end-game zone of TBC. What’s more, so much of those chains have been sped up, or outright neutered. But back then, it was very apt for it to be as epic as it was.
It is a fun questing experience, because you’re questing within a post apocolyptic area. The Draenor Shadowmoon valley is so picturesque, and then you are in a barren wasteland.
That’s where the quests to get the Netherwing drake are.
But you get some neat weapons from it IIRC. Particularly Velen’s staff.
Its done XD. I started doing the dailies for netherwing thinking those were just reg quests…then i realized i just needed a drop from a mob to finish that part…and its all done.
6 zones in northrend left…and then loremaster is mine.
Outlands was also one of the areas that didn’t originally have any zone specific loremaster achieve originally. It was just the entire continent and that was it. Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor were like that too.
