Night Elves have the weakest racial ability. Blizz should update shadowmeld to be used in combat, similar to how it was implemented later on.

honestly that’d be cool but vanish/combat reset is pretty powerful in vanilla so it’d need a decently big cd.
I prefer 10 second cd meld over combat meld honestly

How long of a CD are you thinking? 1-2 minute?
2 minute probably minimum, if we really wanna be mean closer to 3 since this is classic wow and everything has big cds. I’d 100% nelf it up if this was the case for classic wow even with a 3 min cd still, a combat reset into a stealth on druid/rogue is pretty great.

I’ve always thought they should merge the two. If you cast it out of combat, it shouldn’t have a long CD. If you use it in combat, then it triggers a longer CD.

I agree. If we could get the ability to work in combat, I’d be happy with whatever CD it was given. Without the use in combat, its pretty much useless.
Very useful in pvp, and pretty nice when questing to eat or drink. Or just meld real quick if you need to go grab a drink lol

True. Quick bio/drink break for out of combat uses. Then again, that is what a Gatorade bottle is for.
Shadowmeld should be usable in combat and also have an aggro dump.

If we get enough people agreeing with making shadowmeld usable in combat, then maybe Blizz will implement it. Even with the improvement, it still wouldnt be as good as other racial traits that the other races get.

Currently it is a great racial for every race competing against Night Elves. We need it to work in Combat.
