Needs to be looked at? Hahaā€¦ Shadowmeld has needed to be looked at for a very, very, very long time now! The ability has been busted for god knows how long now.

Imo better way would be to make your trinket go on 30 sec CD like Dwarf Racial. This would be risk/reward racial. You wouldnā€™t be able to carelessly press it.

To be fair with all CC duration nerfs it feels like we all have it baseline.

With how latency works in a game like WoW, if someone can consistently meld a stormbolt even with the aid of WAs, then good on them Iā€™d say

Shadowmeld just needs some slight adjustmentsā€¦increase the cooldown, add some limitations for combat, etc. I feel like a lot of its issues are just design oversights with a game running on such a old engine. I would hate to see it gutted

If you are skilled enough and you know how to read the game itā€™s absolutely possible to Shadowmeld Storm Bolt. I literally saw Mehh on Preservation Evoker using Time Stop on his dps to avoid Colossus Smash just for 1 second.

Also travel time is one of the reasons why Raiku doesnā€™t play Glacial Spike but Frostbolt spec on Frost Mage. Itā€™s too easy to react to it.

I mean i suck at this game and i shadowmeld stormbolts regularly.
I do think skills like shadowmeld are good for the game, when they are class skills like talented fade.

Should your racial be the win condition in the AWC tournament? Because it was in several matches this last tournament.

Im at the point that it seems stupid to make a single PVP toon that isnā€™t Nelf. and that makes me not want to make ANY toons.

Id happily give up ALL RACIAL ABILITIES IN THE GAME to get rid of shadow meld. Just to be able to make a character without it being in the back of my mind that its worse because I didnā€™t go Nelf.
