Hi Blizzard Tech Support Team!

I very rarely run into bugs like this in WoW, and I been playing WoW since the game came out over 20 years ago. This odd bug in Shadowlands is related to the world quest named “Planned Demise” in Maldraxxus. I actually completed the quest and got all 3 plans, but it stays in limbo still showing instead of finally completing the quest and giving reward. This is something I never seen happen in WoW before.

This bug issue is odd and very damn frustrating to waste time when I rather be enjoying the game - not deal with this damn bug issue! This is NOT a good experience in the game where any world quest doesn’t register the completion of the quest and fails to finish and give a reward to the player - instead it just stays there with all three plans showing checked and in limbo in the game. What the hell is this and why is this suddenly happening in my favorite Blizzard game of all time!? This needs to be fixed, Blizzard WoW Team.

Update: Same thing with World Quest in Maldraxxus - The Spider on the Wall - all completed but not finishing or giving final reward - it just stays in limbo and doesn’t give reward - now both these world quests show completed on my screen but in limbo without giving any reward - and it still shows the world quest icon as if it’s still available. Unreal and damn annoying this bs bug! I never had this crap happen in WoW! What the hell is this bs bug!?

For reference, I have logged out and back in - even logged into another character and the same issue appears for my main character. I will trouble shoot this a bit more and hopefully find a solution - if not I ask that you please fix the world quest in Shadowlands and anywhere else in the game this type of bug exists, because I never experienced this time wasting, annoying bug before in the game.

I also have a screenshot if you guys need it for reference relating to this sudden bug in Shadowlands world quest Planned Demise located in Maldraxxus.

I understand bug issues happen, but this is not normal, and should not be happening for a game we all Pay for every month, especially for a world quest from an older expansion to suddenly not work is never good. Please fix this bug at your earliest convenience, Blizzard WoW Tech Support Team. It would be most appreciated.

If a world quest is not completing when all criteria is shown as complete, leave the area then go back and it should auto complete.

I tried that several times actually and it didn’t work. It is somehow tied to the original Bastion Quest: A Call to Maldraxxus - I even quit the quest and logged out several times, and even disabled all addons and nothing. I have screenshots of both quests in Maldraxxus failing to complete and give rewards, which I will send to Blizzard and hopefully they can get this fixed, because it’s not good for any player to waste time like this on a broken, buggy quest, which again, never happened before in Shadowlands or anywhere in the game until yesterday. I never saw a bug like this in the game.

As frustrating as this can be for any player, myself included, I just continued enjoying my Shadowland adventures and made the best of it. I always like going back in time and re-experiencing older WoW content. My favorites are Wrath of the Lich King, Warlords (WoD), Legion, Battle for Azeroth, and Dragonflight - in that order. :wink:

Eiher way, The War Within is awesome and the Delves with good old Brann are fun too! Regardless of the bug issue for now, WoW is my favorite Blizzard game of all time. It never gets old. I just hope the WoW Blizzard Team fixes these damn buggy, pesky and annoying issues in the game soon.
