Shadowlands: Watch the Eternity’s End developer preview

A nice format of showcasing it, seems to have some cool things in it. I really like the fantasy of it all and I’m glad it’s not maw-colored [lol]. Tier sets I never cared for but that design of them seems super sweet.

It’s really just a ‘me’ issue to really get the most out of eternity’s end but it seems like they really tried to do something special and are excited about it so that’s cool to see.

Not gonna give 'em flack for something I haven’t tried so gj WoW team for a nice developer preview! Hope it works out for you and get the response you are after from the player base.

uh oh, pop corn

That shaman tier set looks amazing!

I’d hardly consider BFA and Shadowlands a part of Warcraft III-Legion! BFA was simply a scattered beginning, it started things left unfinished, and if they are to say with this patch it all ends for this tiny new chapter, it’s quite saddening!

The tier was lookin’ pretty sick.

In time for a new expansion in Q3 2022.

That’s too early! Jeez! These expansions just keep getting shorter!

Unsure how to feel about 9.2 yet, but communication like this is an awesome start. Thank you and please continue to keep us in the loop! Best of luck moving forward.

Pvp tier sets so far

Communication? We’ve seen this before! There’s no difference! I guess it’s a start, but hardly worthy of note!

It’s there. There is a mount shown flying. It just depends on how long it takes to fly. And will matter if the terrain is also a pain.

Me too, but the roots are Warcraft III and Sylvanas so it’s very possible that Danuser consider the entire thing as a book.

It seems to be the final chapter and i would have thought that we were going to have Arthas as a boss raid (maybe with Anduin).
Frankly, i’m dreading the time when they will use him.

So Korthia 2.0 it seems.

Here is your new zone, to do your new dailies and weekly campaign quests. We’ll toss you some rares and other things to do on the side until the raid opens up. Grind raid until the next expansion, thank the art team for carrying us once again.

Seen the concept in other games, better written, better art, just sad this is the state wow reached after so many creative expansions. I am truly baffled such a fantastic theme was so poorly used with horrid storytelling and systems, but after BFA it’s quite clear the way the company works.

Please, move away from hubris capitalism, go back to a fun experience content based direction. The past several years, most of the directions this game took were basically arm wrestling with the playerbase that wanted bare minimum QoL.

You are in such a thin layer of ice, that going full P2W officially in the store is something you guys are prob considering already.

10.0 Better be out of this world, which most likely it won’t be, so i guess we are going full maintenance mode.

So new shadowlands realm are still being made by robots. It give me a whole infinity train vibe.

I expected so little, and was still disappointed.

Like, the zone is pretty, but the story still seems to be a wreck, no news on class gameplay or the reword structure, and new customizations where not mentioned.

Yawn, low effort.

I’m aware of that. Which I’m thankful for. I want to know if there will be owpvp quests a new bg or some other actual content for pvp though.

That video was honestly a big disappointment. Like, not to be ungrateful or anything but like…why talk 60-90% of the video about lore? Gtfo, a lot of people love lore but that’s not the first thing that comes to mind for new patches.

  • System changes
  • Class balance
  • Raid changes or how many bosses new raid is, interesting bosses for new raid.
  • Reworks for dead talents or buffs to them for every spec
  • Profession changes
  • Mythic+ changes

Literally everything else that isn’t lore based would have been a better idea/time spent on that video than 60-90% of it talking about the new zone and lore. People love lore, they’re happy to hear about it but that’s not the first thing to come to mind.

Also, sum things up in 30 seconds or less too.

New zone: new dailes, new areas to explore! 10 seconds of talking and gets the point across.

This. All of this.

This doesn’t even look like Warcraft anymore. I am not even excited for this in the least. In my 17 years of playing this game, I have never felt so put off by a patch announcement ever.

Thank goodness Endwalker is about to come out.
