Shadowlands Transmog Curse

has anyone else have the unfortunate tragedy of going on a losing streak right after using a shadowlands set?

I thought this was going to be about not getting the Grungy Containment Pack after killing the rare for so long.

When i use their set its like i’m back in the maw

The Shadowlands is where you go when you pass away (in World of Warcraft).

I’d personally question the wisdom of using the equipment of those who perished. There’s probably a reason for their demise.

We get most of our gear from those who perished.

It’s true, but they were still living until they’re not! It’s not like you’re diving into the afterlife and being like, “Well, this will probably save my life, unlike this sucker.”

I’m just saying I wouldn’t trust the afterlife for reliable weapons and armor. I will trust this gun right off of someone’s fresh corpse, though. That’s probably fine.

Wasn’t some of that made out of souls? As a warlock that is right in my wheelhouse.

Do keep in mind that some of us just want to die looking good. Yeah those butterfly wings did not save her from fall damage but she looked otherworldly while falling.

I…think so. I remember the Sepulcher items being all Titan-like. The big sword of light in particular. I thought it was real funny to dress up a goblin like a Paladin, which they should be able to be but that’s another topic.

And, hey, this armor is too good looking to get all scratched up with the whole dying business. Although I’m going to have to think of a new mog soon, for story reasons.

…I think we hijacked this thread by bringing up the fashionable function of Shadowlands equipment over this supposed curse.

I read that as wafflehouse for some reason.

Nope! Because I never win no matter what mog I wear.

I am a lover not a fighter. I would not make it in a wafflehouse.
