I’m Sure no one who can do anything about this is going to read any of the posts people are making but what the hell here’s another one
there are people who are well over 200 attempts to clear the Guardian druid challenge, and its only been 12 hours. I personally cant even get to phase 2 of the fight .
its not just Druids Rogues. Warlocks, Warriors etc… are having problems. people who did it in legion, People who did it 2 months ago in PTR.
This is Supposed to be a Challenge not Practically impossible Excruciating Task that is not fun for anyone
I Feel like Blizzard does not care about 99.5% of their players who are not able to complete extremely Hard challenges, as long as the top .5% are able to do it its perfect.
Does this post have to be a joke, right? How dare they make a post like that with the disaster that is the Mage Tower right now?. The encounters are so broken and overtuned that it has been practically impossible for 99% of the players to do them. Is it that Blizzard has no shame or what?
It’s not a shame thing, they’re just out of touch, and not getting any closer.
Honestly, they probably buffed it just so they could nerf it later for cred. It’s ridiculous logic, but every time they do anything that should have been done months ago, or fix something that never should have been broken to begin with, the fanboys roll in with heaps of praise, and everyone just seems to forget how it all started.
I remember doing all of these bosses back in Legion and I don’t remember them hitting this hard even on my less geared characters. Any way to tune them down a touch so people can actually have a chance to acquire the rewards they’re after?
It’s a bit of a shame that this was the only content new content in 6 months and it isn’t even tuned properly.
Getting one shot by a mechanic due to a graphics error or something spawning in the floor isn’t good gameplay, nor is there counterplay, I am watching world first players having to cheese the encounters just to get through them.
You touted legion time walking as the big content that would be coming out in 9.1.5 and when the 2 weeks of content that actually comes out weeks after the rest of the patch. Its in a state of buggy gameplay & overtuned mechanics. Shadowlands has been dead on arrival and now you are ruining the memory of legion with this sad state of affairs you call legion time walking.
The state of the forum the most recent (and admittedly only) day since Mage Tower release would suggest that most people didn’t take your advice. Or maybe they expected to beat it the day of release.
This should be challenging, but the tuning is off and a lot of it comes down to not having any of the tools that were available in Legion. Even in cases where tuning is the same, the abilities and available powers don’t line up anymore to handle those mechanics.
In some cases, the encounters are fundamentally different. The first boss on the tank encounter can be silenced, which significantly hampers the ability to do it as a Prot Paladin compared to how it worked in Legion.
I did 32 of the 36 specs back in Legion (i.e. skipped most healers), it was challenging and exciting. However, I don’t think expecting folks to take that same number of attempts/hours mostly for refreshed cosmetics is the right balance here. Especially when so many tools used in those encounters are missing.
For something that’s a limited time timewalking event, I feel the balance should be more in the realm of 5-10 attempts for players of average-high skill, not 50-100+
I’ve done these before on three different classes in Legion. I can’t seem to get the health of the bosses below 20% before I’m overwhelmed. I’m using the same strategy as before, maybe my damage is to low?
Yall needed a serious W with this, and yall bungled it up so badly we need something further than ‘F to pay respects’ on how much you killed your chances with bringing people back
