I know it’s just speculation right now but kind of curious if people think it will be a Summer release or Fall release. I want to know how much time I have to catch up in BFA.
Late 2020 probably. No way they have it ready by the summer.

With all the development time that has been lost due to recent events it’s highly unlikely it will be ready before October, and wouldn’t be surprising if it ran into next year.

Honestly, from the way they’ve been talking about Shadowlands, they might be going with the
approach.
I suspect no earlier than October. But we’ll see. 
They better take a whole year but do it right than rush it and get stuck with it for 2 years.

We’ll have to get more content on the alpha to see the road ahead. I wouldn’t count on anything earlier than a fall release.
Ion also said they are still seeing how working at home will effect production time.
Since it’s an expansion about death, it should release around Halloween.

The 16th Anniversary stuff has been data mined in Alpha so I’d guess it’s meant to come out before then. And the novelization is still supposedly coming out the middle of July. Those have usually been 6-8 weeks before release. But with the Covid situation I’d imagine it’s all pretty fluid.
Zero chance it’ll be a summer release, absolutely no chance of that happening, period.
I’d say February of next year and even that is being generous.
In my opinion - and mind you this is just me making educated guesses - we’re probably about two months away from beta. After beta drops, I’d expect about two months until prepatch, and then after prepatch I’d expect one to two months until expansion launch. So we’re probably 5-6 months away from expansion launch; Either September or October.
I was expecting October at the earliest even before the pandemic hit.
just let us know if its delayed til next year so we can cancel our subs.

Yeah, usually around Thanksgiving to Xmas. I think BC was the “late one”, coming out in January?
