Yes, you just need 3 different characters for PVP, Raiding, and M+. And you’ll probably want to gear all of them through Mythic raiding and M+.

Edit: You have zero Mythic kills and you’re 1400 rated in arena. You’ll be fine. The absolute top 0.3% of raiding and PvP are going to be a little inconvenienced by Covenant permanence and weekly soulbind lockouts.

Yes. 12 to 16 months into Shadowlands the restrictions on Covenants and Soulbinds will likely be relaxed.

Elite PvPers will likely not even be wearing a SINGLE piece of PvE gear by the end of the first season. There’s no reason you can’t raid and PvP on the same character world-first levels - it’s two completely different sets of gear.

It’s not specifically a gearing issue here. It’s more of the Covenants, Soulbinds, and Conduits causing some problems for you.

If its a spec you enjoy, I highly doubt it. Considering the long battle of class imbalance we’ve been going through. They seem to bandage this issue by balancing it through legendaries and borrowed power, so the answer to your question more thank likely not. Maybe one year in when they start to fix specs with better and “fun” rotation. I think you’ll see them be more focused on it after losing large amounts of people throughout the expansion complaining, which seems to happen every expansion.

IDK, probably? I’m feeling kind of annoyed that I’m stuck at 1650, but that has more to do with me not being a good gamer than me being MM.
Like random battlegrounds? Yes, anybody can do those. RBGs? Probably, if you have a chill team.
At what level? I’m willing to bet that every spec could be part of a team that clears Heroic (and the first few Mythic bosses) so long as everyone is decently geared and can deal with mechanics.
I think that is up to you.

Get what? That which covenant you choose is going to have literally zero impact on the LFRs and 1300s arenas you’re doing?
Even doing that content would be fun if you were optimised for it. Do you only play one aspect of the game and at a really high level?
How optimized your covenant and soulbinds are is utterly irrelevant for anything less than like 3000+ rated arena and Top-50 mythic raiding. Unless you’re at those levels the DPS or utility you’re losing from a covenant ability pales in comparison to the DPS and utility you’re losing in ilvl or skill.
Mediocre players horrified at the prospect of suboptimal Covenant choice is one of the most depressing results of our current “streamer-meta” epidemic. Play whatever you want, man. You can achieve any of your goals as any combination. I could hit 2k rating without a covenant ability even on my bars, I can guarantee it.
