Shadowlands Pre-Order

I’m going to vent. I purchased the highest upgrade available for Shadowlands back when the expansion first went up for Pre-Order. I got my 120 character boost, 30days of game time, my transmog set, and my weapon appearance. Today I found that I could buy the 2nd highest upgrade for $20 for another Character Boost and the mount again. I figured that was a bug because the shop kept giving me error messages when trying to purchase it. So no big deal there. Out of curiosity I went to the Battlenet shop to see if maybe I could purchase it there. What do I see? That Blizzard is advertising the Shadowlands Preorders with different rewards then the ones I got. If you buy the highest upgrade for Shadowlands today, you get a 120 character boost, a 110 character boost, 60 days of game time, your transmog set, and your weapon appearance. Did I get ripped off for buying mine the first day it was released? They are offering more rewards for the players that were skeptical about buying the new expansion or are just not buying it but my rewards for buying it day one were halved? I put a ticket in, was irritated and wanted to see if anyone else is frustrated as I am if you bought your pre-order on day one like I did.

I haven’t preordered yet but have no offer higher than the epic for $80, which has just the 120 boost, 30 days game time and mount.

Haven’t preordered it yet, and that was a bit hard to read.

However I thought it was just a 120 boost as for the boosts anyhow.

Where are you seeing a 110 boost? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Epic edition states, word for word:

Includes everything in the Heroic Edition, plus 30 days of game time, the Anima Wyrmling pet, an otherworldly Eternal Traveler’s effect for your Hearthstone, and Illusion: Wraithchill, a cosmetic effect for your weapon. As with other Illusions, Wraithchill cannot be applied to certain weapon types.

And the Heroic specifically states:

Includes everything in the Base Edition, plus instant access to a Level 120 Character Boost and the Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount.

There was a 110 boost in wow classic for getting lvl 60 or something once that went public I think they added it to the bundle.
My understanding is it was ment to get people who came back for classic to try retail.

It was a mistake and it was for WoW Brazil.

It looks like the promotion post was deleted from World of Warcraft Brazil’s Facebook page.

Must be a bug then, under shop on my bnet it shows what I posted. Is there a way to post screen shots on forums?

Yea I dont remember exactly what it was I just remember a bunch of rage posts about it and a blue post saying it was from classic for an achievement.

You could upload it to Imgur and post the link. But without trust 3, you need to use ` on either side of the link so that it posts correctly.

Apparently the rage pushed them to backpedal on it. LOL

Complete Collection Heroic Edition

Get started with 30 days of game time, which includes access to World of Warcraft and WoW Classic. This edition also unlocks two Character Boosts (level 110 and level 120), every expansion to date, including Battle for Azeroth, and a pre-purchase* of Shadowlands Heroic Edition. With your pre-purchase of Shadowlands you’ll also receive an instant access to the Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount and early access to Death Knights for Allied Races and Pandaren starting with the Visions of N’Zoth content update.
From the store page for me has a 120 and 110 boost icon in the image as well.

This may seem like a weird question, but what country are you both in?

First time between all expacs that I decided not to pre order right away. I’m not sure when or if I will. I’m very meh on the game currently. Maybe if they fired ion I’ll buy.

I see it now, but that’s $30 extra, not the same price as the normal upgrade.

the USA here. and that bundle is listed “on sale for $89”

Fascinating. I’m not seeing it. I wonder if it’s some sort of upgrade option for those who already bought it, but that wouldn’t make sense, would it?

Aren’t you seeing the bfa + shadowlands bundle that includes all that you mentioned?

OH!

LOL

I see that now. It’s separate from just Shadowlands. That’s why it’s called the “complete collection.”

Duh. I feel dumb now. LOL

The pre orders are listed as standard the heroic collectors and epic the difference between heroic and epic is : Complete Collection Epic Edition

Includes everything in the Complete Collection Heroic Edition, plus an additional 30 days of game time (60 days total), the Anima Wyrmling pet, an otherworldly Eternal Traveler’s effect for your Hearthstone, and Illusion: Wraithchill, a cosmetic effect for your weapon. As with other Illusions, Wraithchill cannot be applied to certain weapon types.

Complete Collection isn’t just Shadowlands. It’s BfA, as well. Which is why it has the 110 boost, too. So it’s for those who don’t have the current expansion yet.

It took me way too long to figure that out. lol
