Shadowlands Needs a Delay

Players want their classes, specs, and covenants balanced to a playable state - we aren’t there yet, and needs more time.

Gameplay and latency issues are still plaguing the Shadowlands that is making things not fun in the open world - this needs more time.

Some classes and specs need reworks still (cough - warrior / monk / others as well) - this needs more time.

Shadowlands needs a delay and I’m fine with the game shipping late.

I don’t think they can afford one.

They are, in fact, very playable and engaging.

Which will be fixed in live. lol?

No, they really don’t.

No, it doesn’t.

Granted maybe not ideal, but

I think those who were going to buy have purchased by now.

Worst case scenario the xpac launches in an unfinished state and sub numbers drop off even worse than they normally do until they make the changes in tier 2/3 mid xpac.

By delaying 2/3 months…they generate maybe some people who actually want to stick around.

I don’t think any amount of time is going to fix these issues. It’s just gonna give people more time to solidify the meta before the game is even released.

Homogenization/Identity.

The past… is it 4? 5? expansions have moved the game towards ultimate balance. Balance is the absolute core of bring the player not the class/spec.

Covenants were, initially, a redress. Over time the soulbinds have been nerfed, creativity has been shut down. BALANCE calls out the player base dying for something different! How dare there be a 20, 30, 40% differential! This is just a meta! We’ve done the math! Pick x covenant for y class and z spec for alpha content!

HOMOGENIZE!!!

So from now until release, balance and homogeneity will be their guide. Pick a covenant… it doesnt matter… we’ll nerf any type of fun or discrepancy out. You’ll end up balanced by the second path. So pick the covenant you like. Its going to be an aesthetic choice soon enough regardless. The forums have spoken!

We all know that. They know that.

The shareholders want their ROI NOW!

I’ve seen the extensive feedback on covenant gameplay. The majority of which I would not describe as playable or engaging.

Yep

Most of the Warrior forums want Legion style warrior back.

A brand new slate of possibilities and wanting to revert back 2 xpacs ago.

So you know what all the next build entails? They are always ahead in development from what you see on a PTR or Beta.

Dude. BFA is the worst and more boring expansion I’ve ever played. Thank god I was intelligent enough to skip WoD and only played that 3 days. Stop asking for a delay. I don’t care if shadowlands has bugs for the first 3 months. It will be better than BFA.

Hpal holy power needs fixing. Monk WW and MW are so buggy atm. Shaman ele and enh are a joke, their damage is so piss poor.

Hopefully they are buckling down on fixes today we are running out of time.

Not to mention many of the race customizations feel very unfinished.

Agreed.

Expansion needs more work because currently release is too soon. :100: :fire:

lmao wait wait wait, you are NOW surprised at Ele’s damage? They are terrible at the start of every expansion and just barely moves up a bit toward mid-late expansion. Ele is Blizzard’s ongoing meme, thats why I gave that class up after 8 years.

Yes you are so right.

Systemlands is going to be a buggy mess on release. :fire: :100:

With the builds coming out focusing on just numbers tuning rather than system changes that are desperately needed it’s a problem

Yeah 53 days or so I think should be a good delay.

Yeppers.

Systemlands needs massive changes to the systems. A delay to 2021 would be reasonable. :100: :fire:

Delaying the game does not fix this.

And what use do those further iterated builds have when you turn them (put on beta) in at the last minute without proofreading (allow us to test)?
