This isn’t really a hate or whine post, just me coming to terms with growing up and learning to let go of things.
For whatever reason I just don’t have passion for the game anymore. I’ve tried a lot of different methods to reclaim that fire but none really worked.
My latest effort was making a new account to start fresh and collect again, but it didn’t do much for me. I think i’m just ready to try out new games, move on from MMOs in general.

Honestly, if it wasn’t for the guild, I wouldn’t be here anymore. If they’d all move to another game, I’d be gone in a heartbeat. I’ve grown complacent. Nothing really excites me in this game anymore.
Now… if we have a Cata 2.0 with the Dragon Isles, I might find some level of excitement if they don’t eff it up with borrowed power systems and Pathfinder part two. But that’ll never happen.

My WoW experience ends when I can no longer afford to pay for my sub with WoW tokens. 5 years gone by and I have 2 years of WoW token sub time on my account, it’s going to be a very long time before that happens. Legion base game was the last thing I spent actual money on because WoW tokens at that time only applied to time, once it opened to Balance to buy products I switched over to that.

I haven’t been in a serious guild since Cataclysm. Honestly, I don’t even know why I played all these years. I can barely remember any of it.
The last time I raided was in Legion, I joined a guild for Nighthold, but left before Tomb. I just don’t feel anything anymore.
I love the cinematics and keeping up with where the story goes, but when it comes to actually playing the game there’s just something missing.

I’m not buying the expansion. I actually refunded it and cancelled subscription. Australian price increase and just not feelin’ it with this expansion.
I have 20 or so days to go, I plan on doing some older content quests etc, cap out at 49 so Chromie still wants to talk to me and honestly just cruise along. I like completing things so it’ll be nice to do some older quests/zone completion.
I’m with you OP I don’t have the same spark I once had for the game.
Other MMORPGS aren’t drawing me in either.

Oh… my guild is far from serious. LOL It’s mostly a casual social place now. Some M+ low keys and a bit of RP, but otherwise just social. We’ve all been together since Vanilla and BC. We went from an RP guild to raiding to progression to casual over the years. My officers were at my wedding. And we’ve met some new great people along the way who are now also part of the family. So that’s what keeps me.

It’s entirely possible to enjoy new games and maintain a WoW sub just in case you want to run a battleground or do some casual content. Either way, good luck in pursuit of your fun.
One of the things I LOVE about Vulpera United is its a fun, and silly guild. Blissfully free of edgelords and NO POLITICS OR RELIGION DISCUSSED! I could stay there forever.
Hey, my guild is what was keeping me around too!
The guild I just left for reasons I will not get into here. Can you guess where that leaves me?
Very bitterly playing Guild Wars 2 at the moment. I still have awhile on my sub though, unfortunately.
WrA guild or is there more than one? I see the one on WrA post in trade sometimes.
GW2 having only recently started to play the game (I’m level 60) is actually a nice change, ticks some boxes for me especially with zone completion, I like it.

Go back to horde and run laps around them and lolololol obv. I know its not as easy as that but I’m a snarker
Is there anything left for you to fight for? You wanted the peach tones and (normal) blue eyes for velves right? I have posted a lot with you on my main. Nice to see you at max level.
I did that while in the guild with them. I was one of a handful of folks that carried the rest of them. lol
I haven’t fully decided yet what I’ll do. Might retire my mage and go back to just pushing keys
on one of my tanks and skip raiding entirely or I might outright quit. Leaning towards option two at the moment but I’m being salty so you know.
I stopped playing for a while when my last guild imploded. I had an active sub but I was mostly on the forums. So I get it. I moved all my dudes to WrA and we built a guild and did some stuff but then there was drama and my wife’s ex destroyed the guild and rage quit back to Illidan. Were still not sure if we’re just gonna alt our way through SL or rebuild. I’m a casuals casual in general though and prefer to contribute to the guild bank to HELP raiders vs being a raid lead. Or whatever lol. Best of luck to you with whatever you decide to do though my dude.

The story is pretty stupid imho.
I have an alt in the WRA one but its a spinoff of the MG one. I’ve pretty much abandoned WRA at this point.
Theres a lot of drama here, yes. But /leave trade does wonders for avoiding drama. XD my alliance used to be on MG but I changed to Dalaran cuz my friend plays here.
I tell people stay away from trade chat for several months before and after an election. The trolls have a feeding frenzy.
