I’m curious to know if people agree with my understanding of how healers look for M+ in SL.
S Tier (Best) - Druid
A Tier (Solid) - Disc Priest, Paladin, Monk
B Tier (relatively worse but decent) - Shaman
C Tier (relatively disadvantaged) - Holy Priest
How would you rank them? Would you split the A Tier up?
Edit: I should add that I’m not an expert by any means and I’m looking for more knowledgable people to tell me how they would adjust it.
Monk is solid? I thought folks were complaining about monks.

I still think it’s silly that people make class rankings when that’s entirely irrelevant with pugging. At a minimum people are just looking for a b-res class because everyone can buy drums and scrolls. The rest are just looking for competent big pp healers and dps that can actually beat the timer.
They are for sure but I think a lot of the complaints were over bugs that have been fixed. There are pros and cons from bfa but for the most part they still look better than Shaman and Priest at the very minimum.
Announcing something like this on the forums is sort of irresponsible. The reason I say that is, every healer is perfectly viable for up to level 15-20 range … I mean, perfectly viable, no question (well, unless there are actual bugs).
But when you consider most people on these forums never exceed the 10-15 range and then see posts like this (or videos from 6K IO players), they instantly start believing that their spec isn’t viable. And then start getting down on themselves or blame Blizzard for “ERMGERGHERD! MY CLASS SUCKS!!”. All the while their class is perfectly fine for the content they are doing.
For example, I’m absolutely certain there are some Holy Priests reading this thinking they are screwed for being a holy priest and now they can’t complete a +10-15 unless they re-roll to Druid.

The thing is, Resto Druids are so cute and lovable that people won’t even notice if they have low HPS/DPS. So I’m not too worried about it.

You know what’s better than 4k IO on a druid? 4k IO on a holy priest - you know that player is good, they earned that score.
I’ve been seeing this a lot actually.
It’s easier for people to blame the spec/class instead of pointing out your own inefficiencies with simply playing the class. Most of the people that are saying “we’re a trash healer class cause we can’t do +25 keys” haven’t even done anything higher than a +10 keystone or have like 1k io scores.
They don’t want to put any effort into improving their playstyle or to figure out how the thousands of other people of the same class/spec are able to get up to the same level.
Any healer can do a +15 which is the endgame of M+. It’s a smart idea NOT for them to reward items for even higher keystones.
I hear what you’re saying. I tried to be fair by saying “relatively” disadvantaged because I agree none are bad. Some are just slightly better than others, even at the +1-15 level
Holy priest is great… you guys just don’t have enough faith 
Those tier list is mostly useless same goes for DPS Tierlist or Tank Tier list… People YET don’t move out of bad stuff … what does one would care about Tier list when you can’t even look at the screen to move?

While this list might or might not be accurate, individual skill will count for a lot more than playing the best spec. Your group comp and skill is also a huge factor. For example, a holy priest will do just fine in a group that is avoiding damage, has a very strong tank, and people use potions and personal defenses. But if the group is taking tons of damage holy will probably struggle. Same goes for Druid; if the group isn’t playing well (or you as the healer aren’t playing well) it doesn’t matter if you’re the best spec because it’s still gonna be a struggle.
Play the class you like that you’re good at. You’ll do better following that rule than playing the best meta spec and sucking at it.
I’d be curious to know what the best pug healers are for helping to compensate for bad group comps.
