I created a new character and used Chromie to change my timeline to Shadowlands. I skipped the Maw intro, and skipped the level-up campaign. I chose the Kyrian faction, and picked up the Bolstering Bastion quest.
But nothing in Shadowlands is scaling to my level.
I know, I skipped the level-up campaign, but I thought that just allowed me to go where I wanted to, not have to follow the rails of the campaign.
Your first mistake was picking SL as your leveling playground.
Well, it was for a new hunter and I just wanted one of the pets from there.
It’s something dumb/ broken on blizzards part, if you don’t do the intro/walk around town up until you open the portal to the first zone you get that scaling issue. I “think” there is a work around but sadly I don’t remember what it is. May have to party with someone that did it
