Shadowlands, Legendaries, Soulbinds and Covenants

For those of you who studied all the Legendary powers, Covenants and Soulbinds, I was curious to know if you had a preference so that I could see your clever combinations.

I’ll just get the ball rolling and show you mine…

Guardian
Legendary: Legacy of the Sleeper
Soulbind: Savage Combatant
Coventant: Kyrian

Restoration
Legendary: Circle of Life and Death
Soulbind: Flash of Clarity
Coventant: Kyrian

Resto:

Legendary: Balance of All things
Convenant: Night Fae.

Balance Affinity + HotW + Eclipse w/ legendary + Convoke… aka #1 DPS as a healer.

Also resto legendaries are just awful right now. They have super cool effects but they result in really really low gains in HP/s which… we don’t need more of. Hell one of them literally decreases your HP/s unless you are really on top of maintaining it.

Guardian
Legendary: Legacy of the Sleeper
Soulbind: Endless Thirst
Coventant: Venthyr

So its only once in a LONG time (3 mins) that this beefy cooldown gets used, but it is basically GOD-Mode-Bear-Demonform-SuperSaiyan. For what you get this really isn’t that long of a time.

Legacy of the Sleeper: Incarnation (and Berserk) in Bear Form grants 25% increased damage, 15% Leech, and immunity to effects that cause loss of control of your character.
Its cooldown is reduced by 30 sec.

Incarnation: Guardian of Ursoc
An improved Bear Form that grants the benefits of Berserk, causes Mangle to hit up to 3 targets, and increases maximum health by 30%.
Lasts 30 sec. You may freely shapeshift in and out of this improved Bear Form for its duration.

Berserk
Go berserk for 15 sec, reducing the cooldowns of Mangle, Thrash, Growl, and Frenzied Regeneration by 50% and the cost of Ironfur by 50%.

Ravenous Frenzy
For 20 sec, Druid spells you cast increase your damage and healing by 2%, and haste by 1%, stacking.
If you spend 2 sec idle, the Frenzy overcomes you, consuming 1% of your health per stack, stunning you for 1 sec, and ending.

Endless Thirst
Ravenous Frenzy increases your critical chance by 0.50% per stack.

So, in Layman’s terms… what does this do?
+30% Health
+15% Leech
+25% to about +60% (?) damage towards the end of frenzy, then 25% for 10 seconds more
+0 to about 15% (?) crit chance, which also grants dodge for frenzy
You can spam Mangle (aoe version) or Thrash (no AOE cap)
Super cheap ironfur stacking so even when Ravenous Frenzy ends you’ll have a lot of physical mitigation
Total immunity to a great deal of CC

So in practice
1 - Pull all the things
2 - Use this CD macro
/cast Incarnation: Guardian of Ursoc
/cast Ravenous Frenzy
/say OK LISSEN I now am for make durid win for much fite and heelth!
3- click thrash as fast as you can
4- suck for the next 2 mins 30 seconds, which you will spend explaining to the PUG why you chose to multiclass your druid to Demonhunter.
5- IMPORTANT - Do not use this to kill people in PVP they will whine and whine and whine and whine and then it will be gone.

This is really the only reason I might go Venthyr.

Spec: Balance
Covenant: Kyrian
Soulbind(conduit): Fury of the skies appears best but I might actually go umbrella intensity to start… reason is simply because we won’t have access to high level dungeons and things will unlikely live long enough to even fully dot everything with both sunfire and moonfire. This is very much early weeks play IE before heroic raids and m+.

Legendary: Balance of all things. However will likely wait to craft a leggo for any possible last second tuning.

On second thought, Savage Combatant doesn’t make Maul that much stronger. I’ll probably end up taking Maul off my action bar again.

Guardian
Legendary: Legacy of the Sleeper
Soulbind: Unchecked Aggression
Coventant: Kyrian

Legacy of the Sleeper + Unchecked Aggression + Incarnation: Guardian of Ursoc = Crazy Unstoppable Bear?

Combine that with Innate Resolve + Well-Honed Instincts for some crazy Frenzied Regeneration healing.

My plan was:

Guardian
Ursoc’s Fury Remembered
Endless Thirst
Venthyr

Big pull with frenzy, incarn, thrash spam for dmg and surv.

But now i’m second guessing my choice of leggo seeing so many going for sleepers first D: is it that much better?

I do have an alternate idea for tanking but, it involves a different covenant.

Guardian
Legendary: The Natural Order’s Will
Soulbind Path: Podtender, Tough as Bark, Unchecked Aggression, Social Butterfly, Innate Resolve, Faerie Dust and Field of Blossoms.
Coventant: Night Fae Dreamweaver

I think the Guardian talent Survival of the Fittest will create good synergy with the above selection. I wonder if Barkskin’s cooldown could be lowered below 30 seconds.
