Heck yeah it is. I’m looking forward to it!
I have a plan of sorts for a nemesis she’ll have in Shadowlands; very likely some sort of Mawsworn figure. The kind of evil that would take hold of that which is most precious to Johlein and be an evil villain.
After grinding hard in BfA I’m not here to min max day 1. I’m here to go through the new theme park, have fun, chillax, and get myself an owl butler. I shall name him… Owlberto.
It comes out in like 9 hours and I still don’t know what class I’m going to play.
Probably aff lock but we’ll see. It’ll be the first time in a long while I won’t have Ghaoithe as my main right out of the gate just because I’ll be with RL friends on another server. 
I’m back on Kirsy as a main and I’m really excited for RP and gameplay for the first time in awhile. I’m going whatever the shiny pally covenant is but it’s OOC because reasons. Until I play through the expac, I have no idea what may or may not turn up in RP, but the new guild is doing well and I’m fairly hyped 
Sarestha for me! A lot of guildies are going to come too, though we’re taking an official 2 week RP break so none of us get spoilers from casual RP - and so we can figure out what the guild is actually up to and how we actually got there haha. That said I plan to play 4 characters a fair bit, one for each covenant. I’m not locking in who’s who until I play through the story but I’m LEANING towards:
Sarestha Ravelle (Undead Death Knight): Maldraxxus.
Ran’atali (Zandalari Monk): Bastion
Fal’therin Duskreach (Void Elf Hunter): Ardenweald
Charlesh Ravelle (Forsaken Priest): Revendreth
I guess time will tell though! Either way that gives me one of every armour class, experiences both factions stories, and should give me an all-rounded view of the covenants! That said, Sarestha will definitely be my main. I love playing unholy DK, and I love RPing the toon!
Liotuse -> Tonauak (dunno how faction heavy these storylines are really gonna be, we’ll find out) -> everyone else.
Nnnnno idea what covenants I’m doing aside from the general “all of them” because I could go for plate mogs, my favourites being either the vampires or the blues brothers.
Also no idea how to handle any Shadowlands stuff IC for my characters (the few that probably will tango with it) but hey that’s what questing and seeing the story and Shadowlands themselves is for.
I’m kind of a rare bird in that I don’t really play alts, but I have two characters heading into SL both IC and gameplay focus. It’ll be interesting to see how well I do at maintaining both, or if Nahadris will just win again.
I’m excited by new profession stuff to do. And the whole concept of the Night Fae and Ardenweld calls to me loudly.
Oh I have decided a lot of things, none of them good.
There’s not a single solitary god damn thing about this expansion that excites or interests me. The Covenants can all burn.
As a result, I have cancelled my sub and have no intention of re-upping. I’ve got 4 months of game time left on this account and I may log in from time to time to try and grind some levels on lowbies or for mogs or something, but
My mistrust of Blizzard is at an all time high after BfA. If (and it’s a big ‘if’) I buy this “pulled out of their butts” expansion, it won’t be until at least 9.1, after whatever they break in 9.0 gets fixed, ala BfA’s misbegotten launch.
After watching two raids worth of people get laughed at by Simpthanos Blueballer in the Plaguelands, only to have to endure his smarm as Tyrande stole our kill, my interest in the pre-patch dropped from mild to deeply negative.
I’m going to miss my pandaren and my tauren. I’m going to miss the music. I’m not going to miss the static combat, the interminable wait for powers to come off cooldown, the RNG Lootception casino, or being punished for wanting to craft.
Y’all have fun. Maybe I’ll be back for whatever comes next, but for right now, all I feel for this game is contempt.

Not everyone is excited to go to hell. I am honestly not entirely excited about the story of Shadowlands in the slightest, more looking forward to the game and stuff to do with friends.

The worst part about the Kung Fu Panda expansion is that it ended up being one of the better ones.
no the worst part was all the people poopooing it because pandaren and “TOR is gonna be SO much better” wound up coming back anyways and polluting my server again
