I’m checking on this for a new player friend. Can anyone tell me if the requirements for flight in Shadowlands were reduced at any time? Only thing I can find is that you need to get to Renown 44 with your Covenant, complete the 12th Chapter, the Last Sigil. At the end of that you get the quest The Primus Returns and “Memories of Sunless Skies” which lets you fly in the main Shadowlands zones.
Is that still the case?
EDIT: OK, thanks for the input. I’ll go with the assumptions on my post above and let them know. It’s a bit tedious of course but if they are interested in doing the expansion, they can decide if its worth pushing through. Especially as you have to do extra stuff to fly in the final zone, as I recall.

Off topic, but it really blows my mind how many threads I find where people are playing Shadowlands.

From my understanding, I don’t think they reduced anything. it seems like it’s still "do the main campaign quests, do the broker quests (Venari in the maw), Unlock Korthia and do those quests, and unlock something… (its been a while) and then the flight option will be unlocked with an achieve and an item in your bags.
Zerith mortis flying… ha… AHAHAH don’t get me started on that one. I STILL haven’t gotten that one because I have no desire to do that content. I might now… but meh.

They removed BFA’s during Shadowlands so I’m thinking if SL’s is ever removed, it might happend later in this one.

I’m currently doing Shadowlands and as far as I know, you still need to complete the main storyline and get your covenant up to 20 I think or is it 40? Something like that.

It was actually 10.1 back in May 2023, not Shadowlands.

Oh so I was wrong on date. So expect 11.1 for SL’s removal.
