Are we getting back Devouring Plague? I don’t know if we will get back shadow orbs, but I want DP back if I am to play Shadow in Shadowlands. Legitimately I would be very upset if all these classes get their iconic abilties back and we don’t get back devouring plague.

Very much agree. The ability has taken on so many different forms throughout its lifespan with us, I don’t want DP shadow orb mechanic back from MoP -> WoD. But a dot, called devouring plague, that’s primary function is single target dps? Certainly.

Don’t forget the heavy self HoT component to Devouring Plague which makes us able to do solo content, farm and pvp better as well as help ourselves on raids without having to pop out of shadow. The utility of Devouring Plague in the form of a single, heavy HoT is part of what rounds out our class and seperates us from just being an underpowered mage. (even mages have more self healing than us in the form of fire spec).

I want WOTLK era Vamp Touch back too. I never understood why they changed it.

They should make DP a talent 100%… or just give it to us baseline as Shadow…
And make void form optional while they’re at it.
