Shadowlands Covenant Question

In short, how long would it take for me to get all the Covenant cosmetics and mounts? Just, given I work a typical 8 hour, 5 days a week type of work. Finally deciding to just grind the stuff out with some max levels since i can just more easily blitz stuff

There are like 1.5 million anima’s worth of items to buy, not including the anima for upgrading covenant structures for some of these items. Then you have the grateful offering grind too. It’s gonna be a long, long time.

i’m guessing that’s across all 4 covenants, all 4 armor types?

Because i want the armors for like the night fae leather for my druids, necrolord plate for my undead warrior, etc.

Yup, correct. So if you don’t plan to get it all ALL it might not be as bad.

eh… it’s everything i want. i like the covenant cosmetics, and it would give me some more unique stuff to work with so my characters don’t all look the same.

I just started doing my undead hunter first with the Kyrian

GL. I’m probably not gonna get back on the grind until TWW so I can very slowly grind it all on one character and send stuff to other characters in my warband for them to learn. I won’t have to reupgrade structures that way, at least.

My only worry is the Unity sets which can only be obtained through doing world quests when the stitchyard is fully upgraded and Unity is made. I’m guessing I’m gonna have to do that on a character of each armor.

There are guides for farming anima in ZM that claim its possible to get 4k+ an hour.

I just recently tried to farm some to unlock a single armor set and best I did was 2k after an hour before I switched to alts and bought out the 4k u can get for 2000g by using the vendor item.

If you are okay with it being a slow burn and have a lot of alts you can just do weekly runs of the world bosses and just trade all the anima to a single character. 1500 a week per character doing all 3 world bosses, there are also sometimes world-quests that give 500 as the reward.

I don’t remember how much raid bosses drop but at 80 we will probably be able to solo most of the raids which should give a lot each week.

that reminds me. when does the warband thing become active? pre-patch, or actual expansion release?

looks like prepatch

Ah, gotcha. And im assuming its like 4 per?

I did the math and with what I have left and the average anima I earn per day (which isn’t hardcore grinding tbh) it’d take me . . . two years.

Which is insane.

Do you have the increased anima from each covenant building maxed out?

I just started on this stuff. I actually never did it during Shadowlands. Im on my undead hunter working on the Kyrian covenant quest first. But, i do have multiple alts

If you get all buildings in your covenant to level 3 you get a massive buff to anima gains.

Not sure if this is what you’re asking but your warband is all of your characters, but you can favorite 4 characters to stay on top of your character select.

ah, i see. thanks for the clarification. its a new mechanic which i haven’t looked into cause it meant looking into TWW content, and i’m keeping myself away from anything about that so i can go into it with a fresh pair of eyes

Not really.

I mean, the idea of “I want to farm 4X times the worth of an expansion for cosmetics” then… 2 years for an expansion that lasted roughly that long seems entirely reasonable. It is just another activity to participate if one cares about it enough.

Just like other stuff like… “Insane in the Membrane” or the like. If folks want all of the cosmetics from an expansion, why wouldn’t it take a long time to gather…?

I just got a bajillion things from Pandaland in like, what? 30 days.
