Yeah but only in chunks of 1000 so I have toons with like 400 anima and it’s just stuck there unless I go farm on them.
The amount of people in this thread that are just like members of the wow team and terrified of the QOL boogeyman is concerning. It’s 2025, why are QOL changes still this scary and terrifying thing?

You don’t. You can just wait an expansion or two then breeze through them and collect mogs.
Except for the elite set, same thing. Wait until you can buy them with marks then do comp stomp and buy them all.
Eh, there has only been maybe 2 cool mounts in total from it so again…meh.
Actual wow cosmetics shouldn’t be tied to what is basically a separate game.
Not complaining specifically about having to do SL content, it’s the sheer tedium of how it was designed. If you can’t see it I can’t do nothing for ya.

What killed the anima farm was the change or rare spawns in ZM to match the Zarelek Caverns model of having only 1 rare up at time. Before that you could do a world tour of ZM rares (in both War Mode On and War Mode Off) and get plenty of anima for minimal trouble.

Anima is not meant to be harvested in few weeks. It has to be harvested for 4 Seasons. From Season 1 to Season 3 in Shadowlands, I got abundant Anima but it is not enough. By Season 4, I started purchasing everything from the Vendor.
You have to play the whole Expansion (all 4 Seasons). It is not for Tourist who would farm this for month and then leave.
Did I felt the grind back then? No, I was just playing the game.
So if you play Shadowlands from 4 Seasons of TWW, how would you farm TWW? Next 3 years?
You should be playing what’s current. Forget past Expansions. Just rely on Trading Posts to sell past Expansions stuffs on a different color.
The Hand Mount to me was the best mount in WoW and it was in Shadowlands. Last few months ago, the mount was available on Trading Posts. It was ridiculous. It looks almost the same as the original Hand Mount I looted in The Maw during Shadowlands.

Ehhhhhh I played through all of SL and didn’t even get half of the anima required to get everything. The grind was definitely real then too. There were constant complaints about it and that’s why we got the stacking bonus to it from upgrading your Sanctum about halfway through.

True story. Remix is for Tourists.
Guess they’ll just have to keep their fingers crossed for an SL Remix.
Then they can complain about Legion Class Mounts or DF dragon customizations or whatever else requires them to play the game for more than 5 minutes.
You didnt play enough content then. Anima is from various content. I think I did Dungeons, Raid and weekly World Quests for 4 Seasons… even farming to create mounts.
I played a lot of content, don’t you worry.
100%ing SL cosmetics still requires an obscene amount of anime. You don’t gain anything by pretending that it doesn’t.
Also your collection score isn’t stellar, so I doubt you got anywhere near as much anima as I did during SL anyways, unless you just chose to hoard it all rather than spend it.
Zereth Mortis is the place to farm anima. Get crackin’
And for the love of god stop dropping anima items that clog up bags, convert it directly to anima an give it to us. This was a major problem in SLs having 20+ item slots taken up with the same currency but different item names.
SLs was just bad as an expansion, everything costs to much, to little resource gain, and the covenant system in general made it the most alt unfriendly xpac of the game. Blizzard hasn’t fixed any of it yet either.

My only current gripe with shadowlands is that stitchflesh is weekly. It’s the only part of the meta that’s gated that much. Ember Court and Mirasmius are dailies.

I don’t know if something like this still exists, but there was a discord that would tell you when a Unity daily was up and which WQ it was. Saved me tons of time.
A lot of the “Anima is SO EASY TO GET” crowd are ignoring this bit of information as they spew the same robotic “Go to zereth mortis” line
I can get 2k in less than 15 minutes, log in to an alt and repeat for as many alts as I have. It’s not hard.
