I assume you work in the game industry.
I’d rather have a raid that needs to be slightly higher tuned then have to choose between family holidays and raiding. Most Mythic Raiders will agree with that statement.
The tweet doesn’t say anything about why they have to get the raid out before Christmas.
I’m not rage tweeting at any devs. I’m just saying that from past experience, this timing is going to put a huge dampener on the release of what’s looking to be a great raid. I don’t think it’ll ruin it or anything, but it still sucks.
According to wowhead about 3% of players have the achievement for killing Mythic N’zoth
Wowhead’s data only tracks registered wowhead users, I believe, and is thus incomplete. Unless they’ve changed that recently.
Again, people make a living from this “game” this effects peoples livelihoods. This is more than a game for some people.
Unfortunately worldofwargraphs isn’t updated so it’s the best we really have
Oh trust me, I agree too, yet given the current circumstances blizz forced their own hand with all of this seeing as we should of already been playing SL’s. With the current state of retail being a half baked mess that has to move forward sadly. The best thing they can do is extend the season a bit to compensate for the botched release.

‘‘Plays WoW during Christmas jobless’’
I mean you’re right, except this is World of Warcraft not the Olympics lol.
It doesn’t affect me but this is problematic for most raiding guilds I’m sure…they will call off xmas days for no raiding. I guess I’ll be spamming M+.
Wow this thread is hilarious
Worldofwargraphs gives us good data showing how many more people raid Heroic & Mythic than is widely perceived in this forum.
OH BABY 3%
SHUT IT DOWN PUSH IT TO JAN BOYS AND GIRLS 3% OF THE ENTIRE WOW POPULATION!!
And while im clearly joking how many of those do you think came later in the tier? I ask because the only people this would at all hurt is those few that are pushing it down in the first couple weeks. Which if only 3% got it over the entire duration of the tier means that % of people who did it in the first few weeks is probably microscopic
You would assume wrong. I work for a large health insurer.
Dataforazeroth will be a better source unfortunately it becomes a bit tedious/unwieldy to search every character using the api and then ensure they don’t fall out of the database cause of the community api changes earlier this year.
No, what they need to realize is that this is a huge mistake and that they need to postpone starting Season 1. That’s very easy for them to do, they’ve postponed raid releases several times(look at Nya’lotha for a recent example).
And how many of those were bought? you realize buying AOTC is EXTREMELY normalized right?
Yes but DS was notoriously bad, regardless of when it was released, same as WoD.
It’s way more than 3%, the wowhead numbers are incomplete.
