Shadowlands Benched for TBC

You didn’t provide anything.

This post is nonsense and just speculation without any evidence to support it.

For me it’s that the world as a very prominent character. Large, expansive zones provide for me a much more immersive experience. I feel like I’m truly on some adventure.

Correlation does not equal causation. Stop assuming things.

Consequence does not always equal coincidence.

Instead of assuming, let the evidence guide you to an educated conclusion, minus any preconceived notions derived from personal investments, material or otherwise.

I believe shadowlands is wow’s EQ PoP Expansion, This is where wow turns the corner to irrelevancy…now is wow dead far from it… Easily has a decade or more left…

Oh god but that’s assuming BFA was Luclin.

Let’s say Legion was Luclin and everything after that was POP/ They Break Games doing.

Feels better inside for me.

Disconnected zones and then feeling of having to do maw to “progress” basically puts people off.

Rental systems and broken scaling don’t help either.

The zones, by far the worst of any xpac. They feel tiny and quickly thrown together with old assets.

It is a shame because the art work is awesome. But they layouts of the zones use to many tricks to make them feel “bigger” when in fact you could literally use a glider and cover more than half the zone on a single jump LMAO.

Oh please, you could run TBC servers off a wrist watch attached to a gerbil in a running wheel.

SWG was my first mmo, and it was so much fun. My friends kept telling me about wow, but I was like no! I have my speeder and a group of vagabonds that ran the wastelands.
Eventually, I took a break, came back, and SWG was all these buff bots and just a straight dump. I immediately hopped over to wow and started a NE Hunter, rest is history.
But what’s happening as of late, is saddening. They can do better than this, that’s what I find disturbing, but they won’t.

There is a lot of high areas, or cliffed areas, like a Jedi kind trick. Your forced to spend time to manuever around, but in reality it’s not that big. Lol
They also throw in a ton of adds, to purposely slow you down also, so you are not on one end of the map, to the other in a minute.

Sl has been a pretty crappy experience for me. Mythic+, Mythic+, Mythic+, Mythic+, Mythic+, Mythic+, Mythic+, Mythic+… with little rewards to show for my time spent.

I look forward to a game where actual loot will drop.

Peeps… They have a separate team that handles Classic stuff. They aren’t going to shelve or delay anything in Shadowlands to focus more on TBC release. There is no reason to do this since Shadowlands is so far very successful and it is still in the 1st Season of the expansion with more content to be released in the future as they shown in BlizzcOnline.

Mythic +, you get Anima ((Which I know it a small amount, but they changed it to give you more)) They also changed the keystone you can obtain if you time the runs so it’s more rewarding to time the keys.

Yeah… getting actual loot to drop is great, but that is RNG. You are expecting to roll a dice and every time you run it, you hit 15 + on that dice to give you loot without realizing there are 15 numbers below that which the dice can also land on.

Also… There is Raids and PVP you can still do. If you aren’t interested in doing either one of those or you are already 10/10 on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic, then I can understand more, but if you are only just doing Mythic + stuff and saying you aren’t getting enough gear, then you need to understand there are other ways to obtain loot than just doing Mythic +.

What on earth are you talking about?

You do realize that its two different teams working on the games right? There’s the retail team, which is working on Shadowlands content and the expansion after Shadowlands, and there’s the Classic team, which is working on Classic and BC Classic.

There’s no ‘resource drain’ from one to the other.

LoL! I’m going to pull the old man card and say I’ve been here since day one. Never in any expansion has my time felt more wasted than here in SL. It’s never been this bad to the point where I crap out on the weekly raid, then have to run a couple dozen keys just to get that specific piece of loot I need.

The dice roll you speak of has never been this bad. You might like it, you might thrive on it, but when getting a singular piece of upgraded gear starts to feel like taking on a second job it’s time for me to move along.

How do you exactly know they “devoted all resources” to this? I’m curious? Do you work for Blizzard or is it something you made up to fit your own story-line?
