Yes i think there was a video showing controller support for wow. I hope it isnt clunky and i wonder how they are going to do it.
im not sure blizz will ever port wow to consoles or mobile
i promise you there will be discrimination for players playing on such devices rather than a pc

If that happens I don’t see why they’d go with the PS4 when the PS5 is going to be releasing in a few months. Unless we’re strictly talking about controllers I do believe they want to make it more controller friendly for people who have disabilities.

They have no plans afaik.
They just added controller support for PC.
WoW is a CPU hungry game, so its definitely not happening on PS4/XBO.
But I’m not sure of PS5 or next gen XBO.
Maybe their CPUs will be capable, who knows.
It would have to be more like diablo to work. Button mashing 4 options. I can’t imagine healing or tanking that limited unless they change core gameplay drastically.

Just because they are improving controller support it doesn’t mean they are going to release on consoles. It would require a lot more than that to make the jump to consoles, a whole ui overhaul so they can even come close to be playable.
How are you suppose to heal a raid with a controller?
People have been doing it for a while with addons. FFXIV does it just fine with more abilities too.
You just use the D Pad for some abilities, the four buttons, and you have up to 4 modifiers that change those buttons around too. So LB+Triangle can be Kill Command, and Triangle could be Multi Shot for example.
It might work with some specs and doing easy content, but if they release on console the expectation is that you should be able to do anything in the game and I just dont see how that is possible with a controller.
Would sony/xbox allow stuff like addons in the first place?
They’re not releasing it on console I’m pretty sure. They’re just allowing controller support via the PC.
Plenty of people stream the PC to their living room TV’s and play from their couches nowadays.
Check this out. It works just fine, and this is an addon. I’m sure Blizzard’s setup will be better.
