Yeah it was the queue finder, but my original point still stands since I don’t know a single person who actually makes their own party for dungeons outside of mythic which requires it. The whole feature will be meaningless to most people.
There’s probably a code limitation in play that they couldn’t get around and still get this first wave of cross-faction play live. There will likely be a patch that will enable cross faction LFD/LFR at sometime in the future. At least we got this much. They also need to enable cross-faction on that short list of legacy content that has faction specific aspects as well. The easiest way for that would just use the party/raid leader’s faction to determine which version of the content to use.
Well. At least you guys are attempting to do something about the ridiculous que times, this should help BIGTIME with that.
Also, will X-faction be automatic when using dungeon finder, to help with our que’s?

It’s likely coming as the second step of enabling cross-faction play.
This. We need to keep making noise about this until Blizzard caves. Assuming cross-faction guilds are coming is a mistake.

hmm, I was hoping they’d have a better solution for the old faction specific dungeons/raids. Like merc mode, or using a CoT disguise on players from one of the factions.
Hopefully they can expand on feature later and figure out a way to work things in like going through neutral quests, those old raids, and unrated bgs

No, no cross factions in BG’s (already have mercenary mode), Arenas, or any other PvP. I agree with x-faction LFD and LFR, though.

LFD and LFR cross faction would be nice. I moved over from Alliance a couple expansions ago because of the faction imbalance and trying to find groups - something that has only become worse as more people get frustrated and move over.
Also, I would have moved over anyways due to horde having vulpera. Had alliance been given this race, I would have moved back.

Most people do not run HC dungeons. Why would you? The gear sucks.
M+ has completely replaced it.
If I were to join a raid with Alliance members and if 1 of them were to die…Can I still eats them?

With all due respect, you agreeing to it or not is irrelevant to what I am telling you.
I was merely informing you that it isn’t cross faction for raids only, which is what you originally said.
So this doesn’t work in LFR/LFD? That makes it utterly useless. I thought this was going to help with queue times. Thanks for nothing, as usual.

I would love to see us have the ability to send gold or mats to our cross faction toons… OR have the ability to create package with items in it and make it “Bind across account” so I can send my little Hordie Hunter some gold. It sure is rough having only a few toons on one faction and not very much gold… when I could send some gold to my toons, you know?

try learning how to code anything and after having twenty thousand lines of code, implement change to each.
try making a website in code without wix or godaddy
try starting a computer program without windows or apple

To be honest…those that are that picky about the lore, they can be happy too! Alliance & Horde have worked together when need be, and do have common enemies. They could fit the cross faction in guilds into the lore pretty easily in my opinion. I’m not a lore buff, even though I love the story! But I agree, I think it would be great to see both sides be able to be in the same guild. Benefits, benefits, and more benefits <3
