The US killed hundreds of thousands of civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki but now the US and Japan are generally on good terms so why can’t Alliance and Horde play together?!
only rated content, raids and m+ there is nothing else for people that dont do that content.
i cant believe we get no new content for the next year until dragonflight.
I mean, it’s not like 6.2 and 5.4 happened…
we get nothing for a year until dragonflight.9.2 was just 9.1 farm those rares and get those chests we havent have anything since shadowladns launch.
worst expansion ever.
Cross-Faction Guilds or Cross-Faction Community raid progress in the API would be nice. We can band-aid the cross-faction guild (or lack thereof) with this cross-faction community nonsense, but it’s pretty clear we just want to be able to have cross-faction guilds… Let me just share the same guild tag as my homies who chose the wrong faction on character creation 18 years ago.
If you choose not do the content provided (dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, or arenas) do you really have the right to complain about the lack of content?
Soooo…theres nothing here for folks like me who just dont care for dungeons??? All I want to do is be able to chit-chat with my friends while they play ally, and heaven forbid trade with them
I’ll wait and see if this fairs well ,I seriously have my doubts.
How about allow us to random que together?
It came down to: do they care more about the RP players who still think the faction conflict matters, or the anti-social queue only players.
Okay, so you have a cross-faction guild on PTR. Note that it requires the use of an instance to create.
What happens when they leave the instance?
Are they friendly to each other in the open world?
Can they quest together?
Can they even trade items?
The answer to all 3 is “no”. So sure, you could have a cross-faction “guild” where people are hostile to each other and can’t do anything outside of instances, but… that doesn’t seem like much of a guild, to me.
The only way to have cross-faction guilds is to remove factions entirely from the game, which hopefully they will never do.
I just want to add on to everyone saying we want cross faction guilds. We want cross faction guilds.
Thank you.
i do refuse to do terrible content thats for sure m+ is terrible, dont care for bosses with 1m hp and i dont care for the arena boosting scene…wow has the worst end game content out of any mmo.
Seems odd not to make random battlegrounds an option for cross faction. Kind of peeves me because its what I do most with my friends.
I don’t like the idea of cross faction raids one bit… The entire idea behind raiding is to gear up your team to take down the baddies, NOT to gear up the baddies themselves! That completely defeats the purpose!
Per the Bnet app: “The Shadowlands content update 9.2.5 is slated to arrive on May 31”
So me and my goblin friend can throw a party … we’re about to be best friends!
Are we able to trade consumables and other items, not just gear that dropped? Like can I trade a tome to a party member of the opposite faction? Oils? Armor kits? Can I give herbs to the opposite faction alchemist in exchange for potions?
If you ignore all this content, there is no content.
Great use of the Texas sharpshooter fallacy.
I’m stoked that cross-faction instances are coming in 9.2.5. However, the restrictions on LFD seems entirely unnecessary, and the restriction on guilds not being cross-faction makes this a big flounder. Guilds are social groups that allow friends to come together to do cool stuff. If you want to play the opposite faction, you can still do stuff with your guild, but you can’t actually be IN your guild. That’s going to prevent a lot of people from swapping over their mains to the faction they’d prefer to be playing.
If the issue really is that a small subsection of players will be offended that players from both factions can be in a guild together, then it’s either time to stop listening to that vocal minority, or allow guilds to have the same restrictions as communities/LFG groups and have a toggle that says “Horde Only” or “Alliance Only”.
Removing factions entirely and allowing the Warcraft community the opportunity to play the game together as a whole would be the ideal situation, but I’ll accept the two faction setup as long as players can actually utilize the cross-faction system. I’ll be moving a couple of characters back to Alliance purely because that’s the faction I want to play, but my main character(s) will stay Horde until cross-faction guilds are enabled. I don’t want to put my main characters at risk of being unable to raid simply because I can’t have a guild tag under my character name.
