OG is just better looking in every way, imo. It’s not even nostalgia, it’s just a better looking effect.

Yeah, the fact it looks like Shadow and also the Wisps of darkness coming off of your shoulders was one of the coolest looking effects in the game. A purple fart cloud doesn’t quite compare.

I think it should just go away completely. Having it as a basic 10% damage buff is just kind of dumb
Just buff our spec by 10% and get rid of it. Then add a Glyph of Shadowform that teaches you the spell for those who like being dark and spooky
It actually used to be the default state of any priest specced as shadow. But people complained because it ruined RP so Blizzard made it a toggle

Seems like it’s only purpose was to give another gcd to a priests in arena when they choose to heal. A looong time ago
