It would look a lot cooler if Shadowform sprouted tentacles and then maybe that had laser beams. I think shadowform could probably have different transformations kinda like Dispersion but that’s more of a shapeshift than an enhanced or evolved form of shadowform.
Everyone once in awhile I consider playing shadow priest again, as it was the first spec I ever played. Though I see tentacles come out of the ground shooting lasers and I’m turned off by the aesthetics of it in-game. It’s the Laser coming out of the tentacle and the placement of the tentacles, I think.
Look up what a laser is.
The tentacles are sucking energy out not pushing energy in.
You get tentacles when you enter void form.

Yeah, that doesn’t change anything for me. The tentacles should be an extension of your shadowform or voidform…
Shadow priest was my first character and main for several years but it was before this tentacle Laser stuff. If you are in “voidform” therefore tentacles, then I want the voidform smokeyness to be shaped into tentacles. Like tentacles come out of my body or manifest out of the voidform shadowform effect on my person.
If the lasers suck energy out this change would be really cool but also make more sense to me. I don’t want little baby tentacles sprouting out the ground they’d look better as part of my shadowform or voidform…
I’ll gladly concede with the points you made just don’t shut down the tentacle rework please.
