Shadow priests do apparently have a not yet implemented talent called Shadow Orbs in the beta. So there may yet be a chance for the flock to return!

The Priest is literally a shadow. A shadow!!! What exactly would “your” shadow look like in a game? All in all I think Blizzard did a great job at making it look as much of a shade form as they could. I don’t get the extreme hate over it. Almost as dumb as the hate people give druids at being a cat/bear all day. Druid’s are lucky enough blizzard gave them a starlight form over the Owlkin people wouldn’t shut up about. Either live in the fantasy or find another class. Sounds to me you need to stay a Mage.

I wish it looked like a shadow still instead of a purple fart cloud.

There is a priest toy you can macro to your abilities that will give you ravens 50% of the time.

Not even a long, drawn out fart. But repeated fart puffs. So as you ride along you have to deal with them constantly flying at you.

So for clarification is it the smoke trail effect that everyone hates??? Cause when you stand still, it’s not as noticeable…or are we just hating the entire thing because it looks bad to you? And you can literally mount up in regular form and only do shadow when fighting.

Shadow form used to look cool but Blizzard has made it continuously worse for no reason. Another thing I hate is being in shadow form and casting pw:s and it overlays that holy shield graphic. At least make it convert to a shadow shield so it doesn’t look as ridiculous.

I personally would not mind a change, if everyone is against it and made it change. But I won’t lie, it doesn’t bother me now. I more so used to have issue with the play style much more than the look. But in SL shadow is pretty fun to play, so I don’t have any issues to speak of.

Seems to me, if you play a shadow priest, all spells should be treated as shadow priest spells and no shadow form should be required. But that’s just my opinion.
