My lord, can we plz get a glyph to show classic shadowform? It was so beautiful. Purple pig pen cloud keeps me from playing shadow.

I would say more shadowform glyphs is better for class balance.
In pvp though you sort of need to know when your shadow priest is in shadow form. So I suggest something like glyph of shadowy hands or something.
If you go to the Scarlet area in Dragonblight there’s even still old school shadow priest mobs walking around. The effect is in the game and works fine but we can’t use it because reasons.

Actually there does seem to be a talent in DF called Shadow Orbs, so maybe that glyph can make a return!

One of those has glyph of shadows. Its currently a glyph with toned down effects for shadow priests. So you can see your transmog better.
“toned down” it makes very little noticeable difference and you can still barely see your character through the big purple fart cloud

I’m joking that the glyph of shadow barely even actually does anything in that picture.
I bet I could convince most people that’s actually just a picture without shadowform, then 2 pictures with shadowform with no glyphs.
There is legit almost no difference in that comparison. You still can’t see the guy’s mog.

Yea the glyph does tone it down a bit. But I always go for glyph of shadowy friends.
I miss shadow form affecting your mount.

To be fair people are also asking for it to tone it done more, especially by having it remove the void cloud around your character.
Which I think is fair as far as a glyph goes.

What are your thoughts on a glyph that removes shadow form appearance but it instead gives you purple DK eyes while in shadow form?
They need to add glyphs for every version of shadowform they have had in game.
Pre Legion shadowform > all others
No shadow farts in sight.
They could call it “Glyph of the Primeval Shadow”

I agree more options are nice. But I am not in favor of its removal myself.
I prefer darker options. Its nice being a shadow person for the shadow priest fantasy.
It also has been one of my favorite casters to play since I started. I am still sad that our mounts dont get the shadowform anymore.
Isn’t there the option that if you don’t like it, you can just not use it?
I love it so my goblin shadow priest in always in form so I an unaware if it is mandatory or auto-pops up on certain spells.

Why should they get rid of it for people that actually like it so that you don’t have to have it? No, I’m for a glyph but they seem to have stopped making them. So it’s either be purple or play a different spec or class.

I disagree I think Shadowpriests should become more and more hideous the more darkness they feed into. With glowing eyes, darkness shrouding around them, and even summon monsters from the void as personal pets.

I agree, Shadowform is an artifact of a bygone era and they only settled on its current visual after changing it to that weird, glowing purple version in WoD, so they might as well just make the spell optional like Treant Form and make its damage reduction effect baseline.
