This has probably been asked for a thousand times at this point, but here i am asking for it anyway.

I love the customization transmogrification gives, and having my character be a purple fart is quite the opposite of that.

Please give us an option to remove the purple stuff completely.

You can tell someone is a shadow priest as soon as you see him cast VT or Mind Flay for example, and there are toys to change your appearance anyway.

There is no need for Shadowform visual, it would make even more sense to have it only for when you are on Voidform, as it is a cooldown now.

I want to main Shadow and this very small thing that can seem dumb to some, it’s very important to me and probably a lot of other people.

Please consider this, or at least making the glyph of shadow better .

Edit: Another option could be for Glyph of Shadow to make it so that everyone sees you in shadowform, except yourself.

Shadow has had shadow form for 16 years. go play warlock.

Think you mean Shadow form but yes Shadow form is what makes Shadow.

Please don’t. Shadowform has been iconic for shadow priests since vanilla, and has always separated the spec from others with a similar flavor through WoW history.
Arguably no other spec has such an unique, even if almost purely cosmetic, flavor.

i’d totally be down for more glyphs that give us less intense shadowforms but the last thing i want is for it to be removed completely. it’s as iconic to shadow priest as pets are to hunters

She’s literally just asking for the OPTION to turn it off without gimping her dps, a totally reasonable request. She’s not asking to remove it from the game. Calm down.

How is it any skin off your *** if someone wants to play the spec without shadow form? It’s largely symbolic at this point anyway since all it provides is 10% spell damage. Should be totally optional.

There is a difference between shadowform and the purple fart cloud. If you are saying you like the purple cloud Aristotle, you’d be the first I’ve seen. I’d love for it to just go away. I’m fine with normal shadowform, though a glyph to make it only activate the visual when we enter combat would be awful nice.

I want a glyph for old shadowform (pre-legion) pls and ty. Hate the new one with a passion.

Its funny, In an expansion thats focused on " customization " i was thinking we would of gotten tuns of different tints / ways to CUSTOMIZE IT…

Druid bear form can customize their forms… The customization priority seems to be all over the place and not hitting areas it should be.

There was a bug I experienced on the PTR where the cloud went away, but you were still transparent and slightly purple tinted. It looked amazing.

There is a glyph that reduces the smoke effect. I kinda loom at it like balance druid you see the form and you know thats a balance druid. For them they get two options either moonkin or what i prefer glyph of the stars.

i feel like that glyph does almost nothing, looks ugly either way. crossing my fingers for new glyphs for every class but especially spriest

Wtb new glyphs:

  • Old Shadowform (this one PLEASE)
  • Same color as now but no purple fart
  • Tentacles form (void form at max in legion)
  • Translucent shadowform (lighter)

I’m surprised that some people protect this shadow form with passion.
I HATE IT as well. I’ll play shadow/ disc and id love to have it gone. Asked about it before as well. Any solution would work, wish there was some way to block the visual on client side but I know thats also not possible.
I love priest mogs and can’t even see it…

Keep shadowform. Get rid of that abomination that plagues it now (the ugly purple smoke)

But seriously though, please at the very least give us a glyph for old shadowform. Or have it be a barber option like druid animal form customization

Would be nice if the current shadow form effect was a glyph, and the form was just not even a button anymore. Back in the day you had to drop form to cast holy spells. And the form itself gave defensive benefits as well as damage. Now it’s just a flat damage buff. Turn it on, the end. So boring. I wouldn’t mind just being able to see my mog instead, and having a glyph to look like the old shadow form if that’s what you’re into.

I think that it could definitely be due for an update. I do like the visuals for the new tier set. They lend a white flowing glow to the shadow form

So blizz could meet you in the middle and offer xmog items that alter shadowform in some way. And maybe rework the effects for existing armor during shadowform.

Which brings me to another sure sore thumb issue. The fact that the weapon enchantments look like sh*t or don’t do anything on a huge amount of staves.
Ya there is that too.

Shadowform is a hideous dated mess to look at.

I’d rather them just add glyphs to make shadows visuals/spells names more holy oriented. Shadowform is a major part of the theme so glyphing it completely off makes you even more of a discount warlock.

Either the above or make Holy Priest a viable dps option like it was in MoP. I really miss holy dps.
