Before the torrential downpour of tears hits, Shadowfang Keep is Horde territory. If you chose the PvP server, you should expect PvP to happen.
We have every right to defend our territory from invaders we are at war with.

Not yet, but they will. It happened in 2019. It happened in SoD. And it will happen again in Fresh. Give it another day or two. You’ll see.
The run back for alliance is at least 5-10 minutes because it spawns you at the Southshore graveyard. You can see why this would cause tears to flow.

The shield kind of matches an Alliance outfit though, imo.
I agree 1000%. And it’s not because I’m a big Hordie or anything, I’m actually Alliance main, but I have zero sympathy for people who sign up for PvP and then get what they rolled for.
PvP servers are literally just ganking grounds. If you’re not down with that, then don’t play on one. Period.
I don’t like getting ganked, camped, and griefed, so I play on a normal server.
Ayyy it let me swap toons to fresh.
If I come to Sfk it’s now MY territory.

I know and that sucks. The realm selection has been horrible this go-round. I have no idea why they left so many players out in the cold.

To be fair, oceanic wasn’t originally getting a separate realm. When Blizzard finally met the demand, they made it a normal realm and the outcry from that resulted in Blizzard making it a PvP realm. Realistically, they probably should have made both, but I suspect they don’t want to risk dealing with a dead (or multiple dead) servers later down the line.
