Hey y’all, pretty new player here. Also, this is a two question post lol. So I’m more of a story guy, so I’d rather boost my character to max level and have all the amenities that come with it. So, I was working on my death knight in the legion campaign. About to raise the first horseman, boosted my character, so now how do I jump back into legion without starting over? Second question is simple. I want a “knights of the ebon blade” tabard, so with my new found flight abilities. I flew to shadow vault expecting to buy it from duchess mynx, only to find shadow vault crawling with enemies and no death knight NPC’s. So my question is…wtf!? Lol, please tell me I don’t have to power through wrath of the Lich king to unlock this place? Thanks!
I think that boosts clear you quest log, so you’ll have to go back and re-pick up the quests you were working on from whoever gave you the quest last. This guide has a list of the quests for each class’s order hall campaign, which might help you pick up where you left off:

As for the Shadow Vault, yes you need to do some quests to unlock it. It’s not really that many though. (You can beeline right for the Shadowvault unlock quests, no need to do all of Icecrown.)
If you go to Northrend Dalaran, there should be an NPC on Krasus’s Landing with the quest “Preparations for War” which will start the Icecrown quests. It will take you to the air ship, where you need to find the quest “It’s All Fun and Games” from Thassarian or Koltira (depending on faction.) That starts the Shadowvault quest chain. (You don’t need to do any of the other stuff on the ship to unlock the Shadow Vault.)
