So I finally managed to get a changeling to drop, however, it’s only rank 1 (ilvl 239). Is it worth grinding out 4400 valor to max it out? Just before I started that grind I got a heroic Sigil in this last vault…so I’m not really hurting for a solid trinket. I just feel like the 1 use of sigil per fight, while impressive, just can’t compete with the uptime of the changeling. Plus Sigil unsyncs the CDs of Ruby and PI. Thoughts?
Upgrade your changeling and farm a ruby. They’re bis (unless you can get yo ur hands on a moonlit prism). Sigil is good only in very limited situations. Plus you can get valor while you farm the ruby.
Already got the ruby, just wanted see if it was worth grinding the 4400 valor for the changeling. But, for all the reasons I mentioned above, it looks like it will be. +30% extra damage during VF, Bender, PI, Nova, and Hero is pretty sick though.
Double on use is pure trolling in raid and extremely niche in m+ situations. In this case you drop the sigil and use the 239 changeling until you get a higher ilvl one or upgrade the one you have with valor.

I’ve run about 20+ mist keys between +2-10 over the past week and I’ve only seen a single changeling drop 
I wish I had a 1/12 to dump my valor on it.
I feel ya, I ran about 30 over the last couple weeks. Except in my case I watched other people in the group walk away with one at least 10-15 times before I got mine
