Question for the spriest lore experts. Did the ‘theme’ of the spec shift from shadow/darkness to more of a void? From what I remember of the olden spells and talents, it didn’t have the tentacles or other wiggle demons.
Am I misremembering or was there a thematic change at some point?

Ahhh ok thank you! I don’t play shadow enough to keep up with what it does each patch, let alone through the various xpacs.
The first and only time I’ve leveled my priest, by not just healing, was is wand spec.

I thought the void lords were introduced in BC In netherstorm questing… was that different?
ETA: I definitely agree that the lines were blurred when the VLs were given dominion over the Old Gods. I think I liked it when the cosmology was nebulous.

Now you can just flash heal within Shadowform, and it feels wrong.

I miss the birds as well, even if it didn’t fully make sense it was just really cool thematically.
Would love to see a green fire type quest involving Anzu and the Arakkoa that lets priests take on a modernized form the classic raven/shadow motifs.
