Some niche use in dungeons, maybe. Damage is just terrible and not mana efficient.
Would be nice to see something before phase 2 other than me killing myself faster with shadow word death.

Our time will come. Let the other classes have their fun. Phase 2 belongs to the Shadowpriests. There will be more QQ threads than the Hunter and Druid nerf threads combined.
They will be better in phase two but that shouldn’t be an excuse for us to be bottom of the barrel now.
Baking spirit tap proc into something and reworking twisted faith could be quick viable options to at least make us worthy enough to enter a raid without being a meme.
They can dispel magic and do some damage with their DoT’s so they’re actually pretty good
In vanilla, leveling Holy made more sense. With a 25 level cap, you have rank 2 Holy Fire. I don’t know how things are different in SoD.
Shadow has seeped into the bottom, it’s just a stain down there, nothing to scrape
Shadow kinda needs tons of talents in lvl 40 to be stronger and healing runes are too strong to give up a priest spot to shadow instead of holy.
Void plague and recent buffed shadow word: death are hitting really hard tho, which makes them insane for PvP so at least shadow is actually strong in PvP.
We’ll see what runes they add in next phase for shadow alongside shadowform talent.

It’s really not that bad when you realize most players are trash and playing at 50th percentile or below, so if you’re playing at 90th percentile, which is braindead easy to do as shadow, you’ll be out dpsing them. 
u can’t balance a shadow priest in pve and pvp at the sametime, they’re either grossly op in one or both. keep them as bottom dps
Shadow priests do not exist yet
Of course shadow is terrible at a 25. It doesn’t become shadow until the capstone talent.
People are hard-stuck in the post-cata mindset of specializations defining the class.
You’re not a shadow priest. You’re a level 25 priest with too many points invested in shadow talents.

Maybe in PvP but that literally depending on Runes other Classes get, but if you played Classic (I’m assuming you have), if you think Shadow Priests getting in better in PvE you gotta be kidding.
Phase 2 PvE Rotation this far 4 x Rank 1 Mind Flays > SW:P > Void Plague > few Mind Blasts till we oom > Wand.
